The producer focused on easy-to-understand gameplay, scenarios requiring specific goals and an extensive development system. The player is introduced to a brand new area called Hope County, which offers great views characteristic for the American state. He has a certain mission to complete and it only depends on him how he will cope with it. He has a mission to complete and it's up to him how he tackles it, with new, deadly weapons and vehicles to help him traverse the wild woods, lakes and grasslands. An interesting novelty in the game, which is worth mentioning, is the lack of towers and mini-map. From now on, in order to find the way, the player has to use his skills, which only shows that the creators put more and more emphasis on realism.  Gameplay and Game Mode As in previous parts of the series, the action in Far Cry 5 is presented from a first-person perspective. At the very beginning the player creates a character. He can choose both his appearance and gender. Then, thanks to the experience gained in the game, he can develop special, very useful skills of his character, which will help him in open combat with opponents, as well as those focused on the quiet elimination of opponents. Another interesting feature of Far Cry 5 is the fact that the game can be completed not only alone, but also in the company of another player. The co-op mode introduced by the developers covers the entire campaign and all side activities. Storyline The action of Far Cry 5 takes place in a fictional Hope County located in the American state of Montana. The player takes on the role of a policeman or policewoman whose task is to uncover and destroy a fanatical religious cult. The cult is led by Joseph Seed, who ruthlessly deals with those he considers enemies. Before dealing with him, however, the player must liberate the three main regions of Hope County, ruled by two brothers and the half-sister of the main antagonist. Of course, it should be added that the protagonist does not act alone and can always count on the help of characters encountered during the game, such as sniper Grace Armstrong, pilot Nick Rye, helicopter pilot Adelaide Drubman, or Hurk Drubman Jr. known from the previous parts. The player observes the action from the third person perspective. The game sometimes jumps into FPP view when the player is aiming with a specific weapon. The player controls Nomad, a member of the Ghosts reconnaissance squad. The player can fully customize their in-game avatar, from their looks to clothing and equipment. While penetrating the area, the player himself will encounter problems or puzzles that require meeting certain conditions in order to be able to continue his journey in search of a missing journalist and a way to get out of this cursed island. In addition, they do not stick to specific areas of land and are able to use it, hiding behind obstacles or approaching the player from several sides at the same time. Before starting the game, we choose one of the two characters - Alexios or Kassandra, who are grandchildren of the famous Spartan king Leonidas. However, in their youth they were cursed by their homeland and banished; we get to know them when they earn their living as mercenaries as adults. The beginning of the story - the title odyssey - is the moment when the protagonist (ka) undertakes a dangerous task that will unexpectedly open the way for him / her to regain his family.  Unlike previous Assassin's Creed games, the story of Odyssey is somewhat non-linear. Interestingly, sailing is made more attractive by shanties sung in Greek by our subordinates. On land, however, we deal with adversities by choosing a stealth approach or engaging in open clashes (depending on preferences). If we choose a silent solution, we can take advantage of the benefits provided by Leonidas' spearhead - an ancient artifact that replaces the hidden blade known from the previous installments of the cycle. This weapon also grants Alexios and Kassandra special abilities such as powerful attacks and a flash of blinding nearby enemies. They are useful during close quarters duels, during which we make use of various types of melee weapons; we can also shoot a bow. In addition, there are large-scale battles in the game, involving up to three hundred units, and when we break the law, headhunters follow our trail, and we kill them to climb the mercenary hierarchy. In return for the elimination of opponents, completing tasks (main and side) or exploring the world, we receive experience points, and after collecting the appropriate number of them - we advance to the next levels. Engaging in side activities is necessary to push the plot forward and open yourself a safe entrance to more and more "advanced" regions of the world.
