Four Pieces Op.16
Written in 1882 the Four Pieces op. 16 for solo piano consist of a Serenade, Choral Grave, Scherzetto & an Agitato-Etude. As with much of d'Indy's work they display meticulous construction, harmony and counterpoint combined with a gentle lyricism.
