Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai Europe Steam CD Key
Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai focuses on the conflict between the emperor's supporters and the last shogunate. The new campaign, based on the events related to the Boshin Civil War, begins in 1864, and its creators predicted its end in 1870. This is the time of a clash between the traditional culture of shoguns and the modern army that uses firearms. The player's task is to bring Japan into the modern era. The creators provided the opportunity to play 4 completely new historical battles, based on the dramatic clashes of the Boshin Civil War.We have 6 new playable families at our disposal. Three of them (Aizu, Nagaoka, Jozai) are supporters of the last shogunate, and the other half (Choshu, Satsuma, Tosa) support the emperor. Three more factions (Saga, Obama and Saga) are allocated as DLC add-ons. Foreign powers also play a significant role during the civil war. Relationships with Americans, British and French directly affect unit recruitment and technological development potential. The campaign map has been expanded north to include the new island of Ezo (today's Hokkaido) and features the rail network for the first time in the Total War series. The player can build his own rail transport traction in order to move armies and agents between regions. Interestingly, railway lines can be sabotaged and enemy transports blocked by taking control of some lines or stations. 39 land units and 10 floating units (steam warships and foreign battleships) have also been added. There were also new agents. The ninja duo (here as Shinobi) and Geisha have been joined by: Overseas Veteran (specialist in modern warfare) and Ishin Shishi (procession party) and Shinshengumi (representing factions of shogunate clans). Both of the latter resemble Metsuke - a counterintelligence and propagandist known from the basic version of the game. Of course, all five have a special skill tree. In addition, the activity of each agent was divided into a sabotage and pro-state division.Another innovation that has been introduced in Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai is the port siege. The creators implemented new ways of interaction between sea and land units. During a land battle, armies can use the support of ships (artillery fire), and shore-based guns can fire at surface ships surrounding the port. However, from the position of the strategic map, our fleet will be able to fire at the enemy coast. However, the real novelty of Samurai Twilight is the arrival of modern firearms on the battlefields of Japan, including Gatling guns and Armstrong and Parrot cannons - all with the possibility of firing enemy lines from the first person perspective. We will be able to use the on-board artillery of our fleet in a similar way. In the Twilight of the Samurai, unfortunately trading and trading fleets were abandoned.
