Arrizak var en gång en ung trollkarl som steg genom leden av The Convocation of Bassylia. Unsatisfied with the ancient approved texts of Agbendor that his fellow acolytes were studying, Arrizak was constantly thirsting for more - more knowledge, more spells, and more power. His pursuits led him away from the kingdom of Ophidionn and the Tower of Bassylia and into the chaos of the Nethergate where he gathered with members of The Circle of Poxxus. One convening was all that it took for Arrizak to find his new home amongst like-minded sorcerers searching for insight into sinister power.

The angels fought valiantly, but they were each cut down by the Harvester and raised from death by the unholy magic of Necronominus. Still, Iosef did not surrender, and he proved instrumental to the victory of the First Great War. Returning to Cirrus alone, it would be ages before another of his kind would leave the angelic city to fight in the battles of Mythoss.

Skapular has a connection to Attlus from a long ago meeting that helped shape both their lives. That meeting led to Attlus becoming the Noble Bear, while Skapular, and his alias Emir Casparr, became the shadowy force behind many of the Realm's unexplained disappearances and assassinations.

Inte alla soldater som kämpade för Arethyr i första stora kriget skapades av den svartsjuke guden Helyos. Några av dessa krigare vändes till ondskans sida. Gnolen var några av den stora moderns mest lojala anhängare. Expertspårare som skulle skickas ut för att hitta och rädda de behövande, en grupp av dessa djur tillfångatogs av krigsgudens styrkor. Vridna och torterade glömde detta gäng Gnole-spårare så småningom Selynes läror och deras naturliga instinkter att bli Arethyrs mest ondskefulla jägare, spåra upp hans fiender och skicka dem med hänsynslös effektivitet. Ledd av den grymma Mwindajii blev denna grupp känd som "Cacklers". Some of those warriors were turned to the side of evil. The Gnole were some of the Great Mother's most loyal followers. Expert trackers who would be sent out to find and rescue those in need, a group of these animalians were captured by the God of War's forces. Twisted and tortured, this gang of Gnole trackers eventually forgot the teachings of Selyne and the natural instincts of their race to become Arethyr's most vicious hunters, tracking down his enemies and dispatching them with ruthless efficiency. Led by the cruel Mwindajii, this group became known as the "Cacklers". While the peaceful Gnole are one of the races that has long since disappeared from Mythoss, rumors persist of a pack of Cacklers who still roam the wastelands, hunting any who are unlucky enough to cross their path.

Attlus var försiktig med att skrämma björnen och backade tyst, men björnen öppnade ögonen och tittade sig fram. Attlus kände hur hans andetag lämnade kroppen. Han såg hur hans frus ögon speglade sig i det odjurets blick, och den barbariske kungen visste att hans fru på något sätt hade skickat denna varelse till hans sida i hans mest desperata stund. Tillsammans lämnade människan och besten Risha's Grove, när Attlus Erövraren red Bödvar mot det största slag som Mythoss rike någonsin hade sett. ---Massor med merchandise och prylar.---In the days before the House of the Noble Bear marched from the colds of Bjorngar towards inevitable war, Attlus the Conqueror returned to the home he once shared with his wife, Risha. Making his way to the tree under which he had buried her body, the tree whose desecration by orc raiders led to Attlus picking up his blades once again, the barbarian was greeted with an unexpected sight. A gigantic bear sat by the charred remains of the tree, its head bowed and eyes closed as if in silent prayer. Wary of alarming the bear, Attlus backed away quietly, but the bear opened his eyes and looked his way. Attlus felt his breath leave his body. He saw his wife's eyes reflected in the gaze of that beast, and the barbarian king knew that somehow, his wife had sent this creature to his side in his most desperate hour. Together, man and beast left Risha's Grove, as Attlus the Conqueror rode Bödvar towards the greatest battle the Realm of Mythoss had ever seen.
