The Concerto For Violin And Orchestra In E (BWV 1042) was written in three movements: Allegro – Adagio – Allegro Assai . Its history is somewhat vague, as no autograph manuscript survives. Bach (1685-1750) was a German Baroque composer who is revered for the originality and skill of his contrapuntal and harmonic techniques.
