It has the same engine and transmission as the Mountfield 1530M. However, it has a wider cutting width of 98 cm and no grass collector box. Instead, shred grass clippings or side-eject longer, coarser grasses while mowing formal lawns. This cuts the time needed to trim big areas by up to 30%. There are seven different cut heights, ranging from 25mm for more formal lawns to 80mm for uneven or damp grass. The cutting quality is excellent, and the twin blades efficiently shred the grass cuttings.
