Pure beeswax, contains no additives, food grade to 65 °C. Beeswax has antibacterial properties and can be used to make hygienic cloths/wraps for wrapping, storing and covering food in the kitchen. Bee wraps are an ideal sustainable alternative to e.g. aluminium foil and plastic film. You can also make bread bags and similar creations with this product. Instructions: In addition to beeswax granules, you will need fabric, baking paper, an oven or iron and, if necessary, a paintbrush. Recommended fabric is woven cotton, ORGANIC. Apply beeswax granules to the fabric. Follow the instructions (3 methods to choose from). Allow the product to cool down/dry. We recommend that you test your method of choice on a small piece of fabric to assess how much beeswax you will need. 100 g of beeswax is sufficient to cover a piece of fabric measuring about 80 x 120 cm. Warm the finished product in your hands and shape it around your bowl or plate with food. To clean bee wraps, rinse in lukewarm water, leave to air-dry. Reusable. For reasons of hygiene, we do not recommend using the product to wrap raw meat or fish. Rinse bee wraps in lukewarm (not hot) water.

This name refers to a classic knitted jersey fabric with stretch, where "slub" refers to the fine little irregularities in the fabric due to varying thread thicknesses. This gives it a slightly rustic look.  Take a look at the picture, where you can get up close to the quality – here you can sense the fine texture. Some practicalities This fabric is made up of 96% organic cotton and 4% elastane. You choose the length you need for your DIY project.   When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterised by its medium point – also known as a ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80. The more layers you apply, the more water-repellent the material becomes. Use one layer to protect your fabric and make it water-repellent. Use two layers to coat your fabric, giving it a coated canvas look. The use of three layers waterproofs your material, giving it a waxed canvas look.Easy to handle after coatingOnce your fabric has been treated, you can easily cut, clean, and sew it. Your finished project is resistant to wear and tear and machine washable at 30°C.Not suitable for fluffy fabricsAs the gel coats the area, this product is unsuitable for fluffy fabrics, such as thick velvet, suede, embossed fabrics, teddy cloth, etc. Therefore, we recommend you always test the product on a small piece of cloth beforehand, to avoid disappointing results.Water-based and bisphenol-freeThis water-based and acid-free product contains no bisphenol and may be used for products that have indirect contact with food, such as aprons, tablecloths, placemats, pie bags, etc. You must, however, wrap foods in a food-grade wrapper before placing them in an Odicoat treated bag.How to use Odicoat gelWe recommend using a clean working area with a non-stick surface, such as a silicone craft sheet. Then, apply a thin layer of OdiCoat with the OdiCoat card or a flat brush. Allow the product to dry for about 20 minutes, after which your coating is ready to be heat-fixed.Set your iron to a satin setting without steam and protect your cloth with baking paper. Iron the to-be-coated surface and allow the finished project to dry for 20 minutes. Repeat if desired with more layers, always keeping at least 20 minutes of drying time in between layers.The OdiCoat is completely dry after 24 hours.
