MIR - Smart One Digital Peak Flow Meter, with oxi

MIR - Smart One Digital Peak Flow Meter, with oxi

Product Properties The Smart One® is a low-cost, home spirometer offering a basic level of screening that utilises bluetooth technology to connect directly to a smart phone. Using the Smart One® app, users can record Peak Flow and FEV1 measurements in the comfort of their own home with the ability to send results electronically to their healthcare advisor. It is designed to be used as a self-monitoring tool for those with a respiratory condition and as a wellness product for the health conscious. Basic screening with real spirometry technology Although the Smart One® only measures Peak flow and FEV1, it uses exactly same technology as a diagnostic spirometer. As a result, the Smart One offers a higher level of performance and accuracy than conventional peak flow meters. Thanks to the simplicity of the Smart One® app, the user is able to easily choose between which test they would like to perform, customise settings, track results as well as the ability to send test data electronically to their healthcare specialist. The intuitive smart one app is kept simple but smart. Inputting the user’s age, origin, weight, height and sex in the settings menu allows the app to calculate a target value and set pre-determined ranges for the traffic light health indicator. When a user conducts a peak flow test, the target value is displayed as an incentive. After the test is complete, the user is able to apply notes about their symptoms either from a pre-defined list or typed in manually. Test results are stored on the app with the ability to track and trend over set periods.

AlcoDigital AL7000 Breathalyzer

AlcoDigital AL7000 Breathalyzer

Product Properties The AlcoDigital AL7000 breathalyzer is the most accurate semi-conductor device in our range of  personal digital breathalyzers.   It has a  replacebale wash and go sensor  therefore does not require sending away for calibration. Simply purchase a new sensor and change it over yourself every 12 months – just like a battery. FASTcar magazine rated the AL7000 the ‘best breathalyser under £100’ and said: ‘We reckon this is the best breathalyser on the market for under 100-quid because, unlike many, it’s not going to be a waste of space after a year of use. You see, to give a true reading all breathalysers need recalibrating every 12-months but, as this one is a part of their  unique swap and go range  it allows you to quickly change the sensor yourself for about £20. Its advanced semi-conductor sensor is one of the most scientifically sound out there pulling in accurate figures to ±0.01% BAC. We like the hard case and in-car power lead, too.’ The AlcoDigital AL7000 sensor measures alcohol in milligrams per litre (mg/L) of breath and provides measurements up to 2.00mg/L.  The English and Welsh drink drive limit is 0.35mg/L and the Scottish drink drive limit is 0.22 mg/L. It has an accuracy of ±0.01% at 0.05% BAC. The Al7000 is also the only semi-conductor breathalyser to come with a hard case and in car power supply. UK based 12 month warranty. Easy to use The AL7000 breathalyzer has a very simple, one button operation. With one press, the breathalyzer switches on and warms up ready for your test.  While it warms up you can insert one of your reusable mouthpieces, one of which you can keep safe in the battery compartment of the unit.  When the AL7000 is ready test it will display the word ‘ blow’ on the screen. Blow a deep and steady breath through the mouthpiece, into the AL7000. While breathing into the breathalyser a long beep noise will sound. When you hear two beeps the full sample has been taken and you can stop blowing and await your result. The result is displayed within seconds on the LED screen in mg/L. The whole process has been designed to be as simple as possible, so even after a few drinks there is nothing complicated to worry about. Please remember that there is no safe alcohol level to drive at other than ZERO. Swap & Go Semi Conductor Sensor Nobody likes having to send their breathalyzer in for calibration every 12 months – but how else could you continue to trust the accuracy of your breathalyser? With our Swap & Go range of personal digital breathalysers,  you can have that confidence without having to send it away to have it calibrated.  The AL7000’s replaceable sensor should remain accurate for 12 months (or 300 tests), you can then  purchase a brand new sensor  and replace it yourself – just like a battery. Approvals   CE approval   FDA approval   RoHS Compliant   DOT Alcohol Screening Device Mouthpieces The AlcoDigital AL7000 breathalyzer comes with 5 mouthpieces. They are all re-usable so you shouldn’t need to purchase any more in the future.  There is even a little compartment in the back of the breathalyser to store a mouthpiece so you don’t forget to take one out with you.  You can store the rest in the hard case provided. In Car Power Supply The AL7000 also comes with an in car power supply, so that when you are on-the-go you don’t need to worry about batteries. Additional Features  Test counter Batteries included Auto power off Hard storage case In car power supply Technical Specification Swap & Go premium replaceable sensor No annual calibration required Thin unit for pocket storage With hard case and in car power supply Measures in mg/L What is in the box?  AlcoDigital AL7000 breathalyzer x5 reusable mouthpieces x2 AA 1.5v batteries 12v DC in car power supply Hard storage case for breathalyser and power supply Hand strap

AlcoDigital Platinum Lite Breathalyzer

AlcoDigital Platinum Lite Breathalyzer

Product Properties The AlcoDigital Platinum Lite breathalyzer is our smallest and best value breathalyser with a fuel cell sensor. Fuel cell sensors are at least twice as accurate as semi-conductor sensors and will generally give double the lifespan too. The Lite is the fixed sensor version of the  Alco Digital Platinum breatherlyser. The AlcoDigital Platinum Lite comes with NFC (Near Field Communication) as standard so you can use it with the free AlcoTag app to record your readings. UK based 12 month warranty. Accurate Fuel Cell Sensor Fuel cell sensors are much larger than semi-conductor sensors. The larger the sensor, the better it can produce the electrical current needed to detect levels of alcohol – giving more reliable and consistent results. The size of our Platinum Lite sensor is 30mm². You will also find that fuel cell sensors are more durable, so they can be used frequently whilst maintaining their high levels of accuracy. Regular calibration can see these sensors lasting years and years. The Platinum Lite needs calibrating every 12 months or 500 tests (whichever comes first). The Breathalyser App There have been breathalysers that have worked with your phone before – the difference with the Platinum Lite is that it is primarily a breathalyser first and an app second.  Use the free AlcoTag app on your android phone via NFC (Near Field Communication) giving you the chance to take a picture of yourself blowing into the breathalyzer for your records, just in case you have an evening sharing it with your friends that you want to remember the next day!  The breathalyzer connects wirelessly with NFC before and after the test and records the result along with the date and time. Add your local taxi numbers to the app for the days when you do have alcohol left in your system and are not safe to drive. Check out your results over an evening with the data chart and learn more about how your body processes alcohol. The Platinum Lite is also EN Approval as a Breath Alcohol Test Device for General Public, clearly demonstrating its accuracy and reliability – which is obviously more important than the reviews, but we’re always happy when people like our littlest fuel cell! Approvals   CE approval   FDA approval   DOT Alcohol Screening Device   EN Approved – EN16280 Mouthpieces The AlcoDigital Platinum Lite breathalyzer comes with an integrated mouthpiece that easily slides out of the breathalyzer and in again for safe storage. Unlike any semi-conductor breathalyzer you never need to worry about taking spare mouthpieces with you – if the device is just for yourself you’re not likely to even need the spares.  However, we know and understand that these breathalyzers are popular with friends and family so 5 spare re-usable mouthpieces are included with the Platinum Lite purchase. Additional Features Unique colour Batteries included Flow rate sensor – provides a warning if the breathalyser isn’t being supplied with a regular flow of breath. Wide storage and operating temperature range – can be stored 0ºC to 50ºC and operated at 5ºC – 40ºC. Calibration The AlcoDigital Platinum Lite needs calibrating every 12 months or 500 tests (whichever comes first). Technical Specification: Best value fuel cell breathalyzer NFC to work with the free AlcoTag app on your phone EN Approved What is in the box? AlcoDigital Platinum Lite breathalyzer x5 reusable mouthpieces x2 AAA 1.5v batteries Soft storage case User manual

Product Properties Capacity: 220kg Graduation: 200g500g  The Marsden M-550 is an affordable, accurate professional digital medical floor scale. This scale is Class III Approved, which means it can be used for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis and medical treatment. Key Features Class III Approved MDD Approved Covered by 4 year warranty Entry level price; wide weighing platform Bright, clear weight display Tare and Hold functions BMI calculation Tap-on function Adjustable levelling feet Suitable for GP surgeries, pharmacies, clinics Capacity: 160kg Graduations: 200g Dimensions: 355mm x 345mm x 60mm Power Supply: Mains or 4 x AA batteries Battery LIfe: Over 100 hours of continuous use Weight of Scale: 2.8kg What makes the M-550 a better choice than mechanical scales? Traditionally, GP surgeries have used mechanical floor scales, These dial scales can still be seen in use today; however, they are usually only Class IIII and will generally be accurate to 1kg. With a 200g (up to 100kg) accuracy, the digital M-550 is up to 5 times more accurate than traditional mechanical scales. The NAWI directive states all scales ‘used in the determination of mass in the practice of medicine for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis and medical treatment’ must be Class III approved. Therefore, not only does the M-550 weigh to a greater level of accuracy than traditional mechanical GP scales, it also has a more suitable level of approval for professional medical use. Who uses the M-550? The M-550’s high accuracy means this floor scale is ideal for GP surgeries and pharmacies. GPs like the larger base which makes it easier to weigh more frail patients and those less steady on their feet. The M-550 is also popular as a precision bathroom scale for home users wanting medically approved accuracy at an affordable price. Why should I choose the M-550? If you need an affordable, professional weighing scale that meets minimum requirements for medical use, choose the M-550. The M-550 is Marsden’s lowest priced Class III Approved medical scale, yet has a range of convenient and easy to use functions and is also covered by the Marsden 4 year warranty This 160kg capacity scale is perfect for GP surgeries, who like its larger base, lightweight design and low price. It features hold of weight, Tare and BMI functions. BMI can be easily calculated by using the buttons on the scale to input the height. Then, when the patient stands on the scale, BMI will be automatically calculated and displayed. The M-550 GP Floor Scale is battery powered, needing just four AA batteries for 100 hours' continuous operation. A mains adaptor can be purchased as an extra.

AliveCor KardiaMobile ECG 1 Lead

The AliveCor KardiaMobile records a lead 1 ECG on a smart phone or tablet in just 30 seconds. It’s quick and easy to use with no gels, wires or cables and it detects atrial fibrillation, one of the major risk factors for stroke. The recorded ECGs can be reviewed, emailed, saved and printed. Why should Clinicians use KardiaMobile? Proven.   KardiaMobile’s single lead ECG is comparable to Lead 1 of a standard ECG machine, and the most clinically validated mobile ECG solution available. Clinical research references are available on request. Practical and time saving.   Looking for fast, accurate ECG screening? KardiaMobile captures rate-and-rhythm, and determines whether a confirmatory 12-lead ECG is necessary in just 30 seconds. Proactive.   Patients can self-administer an ECG whenever they feel symptoms or on a schedule you recommend - giving you a more complete picture of your patients’ heart activity. Patient friendly.   Five star approval rating from independent Feefo customer reviews. Patients who self-test and detect normal sinus rhythm report increased peace of mind, which may reduce the need for physician visits. KardiaMobile is one of the most popular, clinically proven mobile ECG monitors on the market. Suitable for home or professional use the KardiaMobile is used extensively throughout the NHS. Recommended by Cardiologists for AFib detection it offers peace of mind in your pocket. The KardiaMobile ECG and Kardia ECG app records heart rhythms along with symptoms and is a simple, effective way to detect or track arrhythmias on a smart phone or tablet. To record an ECG, just hold the KardiaMobile in your hands for 30 seconds to measure your heart's electrical activity anytime, anywhere - no probes or wires are necessary. ECGs are stored in the app which at the end of the recording displays the ECG trace, heart rate and classifies the recording into 1 of the following categories. Atrial Fibrillation. The clinically validated algorithm will notify you to the presence of atrial fibrillation. If AF is detected, you will see the message "Possible AF Detected." Normal. If no rhythm abnormalities are detected, you will receive the message 'Normal'. This means that the heart rate is between 50 and 100 BPM, there are no or very few abnormal beats, and the shape, timing and duration of each beat is considered normal. Bradycardia a slow heart rate below 40-50 beats per minute. Tachycardia a fast heart rate above 100-140 beats per minute. Unclassified. The Normal Algorithm declares the ECG as Unclassified for ECGs that have a heart rate below 40 or above 140 bpm. Unreadable. 'Unreadable' implies that there was too much interference during the recording. This could be electrical or sound interference. The   free Kardia Basic App   permits local storage of ECGs in the Kardia App. A user can view a complete history of the ECG's they have recorded on their device. Any stored ECG can also be printed or e-mailed as a PDF directly from the mobile device. ECG storage can be turned off within the App. The single internal coin cell battery in the Kardia Mobile should last for approximately 1 year of normal use assuming 2-3 recordings a day. The App is available in the Apple App Store or via Google Play in the UK and Ireland. In a recent medtech innovation briefing (MIB) published by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) the KardiaMobile by AliveCor was positively reviewed and recognised.
