Apollo Professional Bariatric Low Bed
The Apollo Professional Bariatric Low Bed is a feature-rich, electrically operated nursing bed designed for safe, dignified care of bariatric patients in care homes and residential environments. With a platform height as low as 270mm, it supports easy entry and exit, and it offers a safe working load of 350 kgs (55 stone), making it exceptionally sturdy. This profiling bed includes an electrically adjustable backrest, height, tilt, and knee break, all controllable via a user-friendly handset that features a lockout function for patient safety. It also features auto-contour and auto-regression functions, helping prevent sliding down the bed and reducing pressure on the sacrum during repositioning. The bed includes a 150mm extending platform, allowing for increased mattress length up to approximately if required. Built with a robust frame and detachable full-length aluminium side rails (compliant with IEC 60601‑2‑52), the bed ensures both safety and access flexibility. Four individually lockable twin castors provide stability and manoeuvrability, even on varied flooring surfaces.
