Space Channel 5 Part 2 is the second installment in a series of dance games created by Tetsuye Mizuguchi - the author of such unconventional titles as Rez and Lumines.The main character of Space Channel 5 Part 2 is 19-year-old Ulala. She works as a journalist for the eponymous television station. After defeating the sinister Morolians from the first part of his adventures, heroin sets out to save thousands of people kidnapped by a criminal group called Rhythm Rogues. Of course, Ulala won't have to face challenges alone. She will be helped by the space policewoman Pine, the reporter Pudding and Space Michael played by Michael Jackson himself.The basic assumptions of the game do not differ much from other music games. Our task is to press the appropriate buttons to the rhythm of the music. However, unlike similar titles (such as Parappa the Raper), the sequences we need to enter are not shown on the screen.
