The Hydrangea Eclipse® is the first true dark-leaved macrophylla (large-leaved) Hydrangea. Its stunning dark purple, almost black foliage keeps its colour all season, even when pruned or in warmer climates, where other hydrangeas turn green.
Growing up to 1.5m tall and wide, Hydrangea Eclipse® makes a fantastic landscape shrub and a bold statement in beds or as a striking feature in containers and patio pots. Its large blooms transition from raspberry pink to cherry red, depending on soil pH, adding dynamic colour to your outdoor space. Like almost all hydrangeas, Eclipse® will lose its leaves in Winter but will reward you with gorgeous leafy foliage in spring and summer.
