Apollo XPander Amber Beacon with White Mounting Base - XPA-CB-14004-APO

Apollo XPander Amber Beacon with White Mounting Base - XPA-CB-14004-APOThe XPander Sounder and Sounder Base is wireless and designed to be used with XPander detectors and manual call points.Brand InformationXPander incorporates entirely new designs with respect to the wireless communication system. A Radio Interface is connected to the loop. It communicates with the control panel using the Apollo addressable two-wire power and communications system. The interface communicates with the detection and alarm signalling devices by means of radio waves. The detectors are multistate in that they report normal pre-alarm fire or fault states to the radio base which transmits the information to the interface. The detectors incorporate drift compensation and report any compensation limit occurring. The radio bases and signalling devices are addressable and use a pre-set analogue value to report via the XP95 or Discovery protocol. Apart from normal and fire the bases can send pre-set analogue values to indicate low battery detector contaminated detector tamper and low signal strength fault conditions.Key Featuresmodern stylingloop-powered interface operating on 868MHzwireless addresses seen by control panel as normal addressesradio base with wireless circuitry and battery compartmentchamber designed to inhibit dirt penetration and thus reduce false alarmsautomatic drift compensation with DirtAlert warningalgorithms for transient alarm rejectionFasTest reduces time taken to test detectorsremote test facility3-5 years battery life

PROBE TEST Heat Probe Testing Tool 120W

PROBE TEST Heat Probe Testing Tool 120W

PROBE TEST Heat Probe Testing ToolProbe-Test is an alternative to a gas torch or heat gun for testing Probe type Point Heat Detectors. Its advantages are particularly relevant when working in conditions where naked flame or exposed heating elements is unsafe or inconvenient. For example in roof spaces under floor spaces close to special wall or ceiling finishes. The heads reach a working maximum temperature of 520 Degrees Celsius.Key FeaturesHigh Power 120WNo Naked FlamesTests in SecondsTemperature ControlledFull Instructions IncludedThe heads reach a working maximum temperature of 520 Degrees Celsius.Available in 120v although lead times may be longer. Please Contact Us for more information.InstructionsThese instructions should be carefully followed each time the Probe-Test is used. Instructions using standard Point Type Heat Probes e.g. Fenwal Tyco Olsen T54B etc.Select appropriate heads for the diameter of detector probe shaft e.g. .Slide the heads onto the shaft until they bottom out. It is important that the heads do not slide easily off the shaft.Place Probe-Tester in a safe location. Switch ON at mains the indicator will glow Amber. Allow approximately 4 minutes to attain full working temperature.Position the two heated heads on the Probe-Test over the Heat Probe to be tested approximately 20mm from the end of the probe. Grip the handles firmly ensuring the heads remains at 90 degrees to the probe. Hold until the Heat Probe Detector actives.Remove Probe-Test from the Detector unplug from the mains and allow the Probe-Tester to cool.
