Kentec K04400M2 Sigma CP Sounder PCB - BoxedThe Sigma K04400M2 is a sounder controller PCB in a steel enclosure which requires a 230V DC power source.The Kentec Sigma CP Sounder Board is compatible with all Sigma CP control panels which have operating software version V3.0 or above.The board provides 8 additional sounder outputs which can be configured as zoned 2-stage or common alarm.All sounder outputs are open and short circuit monitored and any faults on the sounder outputs will be announced at the main fire alarm panel as a sounder fault.A class change input is provided which when activated by a volt free contact closing will switch all sounder outputs on.Mains powered units require only a two core data cable from the main control panel. 24V DC versions require an additional two cores from another 24V DC source which is suitably rated to supply the total sounder current. 230V versions have their own power supply which is rated to supply sounder loads up to 5.25 Amps.Up to 7 Sounder boards can be connected to a control panel and each is allocated an address from 1 to 7 using a binary coded DIL switch. Sounder boards may be connected to the Sigma CP serial bus in addition to Sigma CP ancillary boards and Sigma CP-R repeater panels.The total length of the data cable from the main panel to the last repeater must not exceed 1200 metres.
