It measures 145 cm wide and is made from 100% polyester. Wash it at 40°, make sure it dries hanging and iron on a low heat. TIP: Pay attention to the direction of the thread when laying out your pattern pieces. Your project usually needs to follow the direction of the thread to get the right look. And once you've started the pattern, use fine pins to hold it in place - it will glide easily on the shiny surface. It shrinks approx. 1% in the wash. TIP: Sharp scissors are a must when working with satin. The fabric can be difficult to cut because it's slippery and also offers a lot of resistance. Use a good quality pair of fabric scissors or, if you want to make it even easier, a sharp roller knife/roller cutter.
