Properties Mediumweight, slightly textured fusible woven interlining made from cotton fibres. Weight 75 g/m2 Application areas For the fusing of small parts and front parts of jackets and coats. Suitable for medium- to heavyweight fabrics. Processing As with all interlinings from Vlieseline, this woven interlining is always cut lengthwise following the direction of the thread. Place the interlining on the reverse side of the fabric with the coated side facing down, cover with a damp cloth and iron section by section for around 12 seconds. Do not push the iron. After fixing, lay the pieces down flat to cool down for around 30 minutes to allow the bond to stabilise. Advantages Retains its shape

Processing As with all interlinings from Vlieseline, this woven interlining is always cut lengthwise following the direction of the thread. Place the interlining on the reverse side of the fabric with the coated side facing down and initially fix in place at a few points at a low temperature to prevent warping. Then cover with a damp cloth and iron on thoroughly, section by section, for around 8 seconds. Do not push the iron. After fixing, lay the pieces down flat to cool down for around 30 minutes to allow the bond to stabilise. Beautiful textured satinThe glossy satin is classic and elegant for festive occasions - with this version you get the classic satin with a fine texture that adds that little something extra to your design. You can zoom in on the pictures to get a better idea of the beautiful surface. Beautiful creations in satinUse satin for shirts, dresses, skirts and trouser suits - it's super elegant and drapes beautifully over the body. Be aware that the fine texture also means that you should iron the material at low heat. Also, avoid using steam as it causes the texture to change shape. Practical information about this satin This satin is made from 100% polyester and comes in several beautiful colours. You buy it by the metre, so you get exactly the length you need for your projects.The fabric is 140 cm wide and shrinks about 1% in the wash. Wash at 40° - hang dry and iron on low heat. TIP: As satin has a very smooth surface, it slides easily. Therefore, we recommend that you always cut in one layer at a time and use good quality, sharp fabric scissors. Our acrylic coated woven oilcloth fabrics have a matte surface very similar to regular fabric cloth. They add a touch of elegance and luxury to any home décor. Always use the tablecloth with the acrylic coated side facing upwards. You can easily wipe of foods and beverages of the oilcloth, however, be aware of types like ketchup, sauces, oil dressings, lemonade and the like can leave stains. Always wipe of immediately with a damp cloth, wrung in warm water if necessary, with a little detergent. It prolongs the service life. For stubborn stains, you can wash the tablecloth at 30 degrees in the washing machine, but do not use the spin cycle and tumble dryer. We recommend ironing the tablecloth after each wash to activate the water and dirt-repelling treatment. Remember to iron the tablecloth on the back. Note: This type of oilcloth is not suitable for damp outdoor environments. Remember to always bring the tablecloth inside after outdoor use. Can be discoloured by the sun. Note! Light, colourful and a beautiful drape! Viscose is a popular fabric for many fashion designs. It's a light and soft material with good breathability, while also being comfortable to wear.  The beautiful drape is especially pronounced in tops, dresses, and shirts, where even with the simplest designs, you achieve a stylish look. The design is up to you: Does the shirt need a small collar? The top a boat neck? Or are you into ruched details?  That being said, viscose is also well-suited for light trousers. We prefer them with a bit of width in the legs, so you once again benefit from the lovely drape.  Choose from many stunning colours.  What is viscose? Viscose has been used for clothing for over 100 years. The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose, for example from wood pulp or cotton waste. It resembles natural fibres like cotton and silk.  Some practicalities The fabric is 100% viscose, is 130 cm wide, and you can of course choose the length you need. Wash at 40°C, iron at medium heat, and allow to air dry. Expect 5% shrinkage after washing.  Remember to use the right needles – we recommend using a universal needle or a microtex needle in size 70.

Cotton satin - the best of both worldsHow about trying our soft cotton fabric in a range of beautiful colours for your next creative project. It's soft and comfortable to work with.Satin refers to the way the fabric is woven. This means that when we say cotton satin, it has the same beautiful weave as more 'classic' satin, while the cotton quality gives a more matt finish to the fabric.  And what can you use cotton satin for? Well, that’s entirely up to you. We prefer using it for bed linen. The natural material of the cotton in the delicate satin weave makes for some really lovely home made bed linen. As with so many other cottons, it is also suitable for clothing. Cotton is comfortable to wear and the fine weave gives it a nice finish - for a summer shirt or skirt, for example. Cotton satin is also perfect for a tablecloth for the table. Sew the tablecloth yourself or select "Sew as a tablecloth" and we will sew it for you (click on the text for details). Practical information about cotton satinMade from 100% cotton, it's soft and fluffy and, as always, you buy the fabric by the metre, so you get exactly the length you need. The fabric is 145 cm wide, has a weight of 130 grams and shrinks about 8% in the wash. You can wash it at 60° and iron at medium heat - but avoid the tumble dryer; let it air dry instead. TIP: Finish your seams properly - satin tends to fray a lot. You could also consider using a wider seam allowance to secure your seams or use overlock stitching. As always - test your seams on a scrap piece beforehand to see which technique works best for your piece of fabric.
