Colourful Round Elastic BandsWho says elastic bands have to be white or black and hidden away? Not us! With this elastic band, you'll make a little statement with your DIY project. DIY with elasticated cordYou can choose from several great colours to get the look you want. Choose a contrasting colour for a cool finish or go tone-on-tone - it's entirely up to you. We love this elastic as a drawstring in sweatshirts, but generally just use it as a cool extra detail that keeps the garment in place. Or maybe you want to create one of those DIY notice boards where elastic bands create a graphic pattern across the board? Premium quality overlock thread in 100 % polyester, suitable for use with all overlockers. Overlock thread is slightly finer than regular sewing thread. An overlocker works differently than a sewing machine. Overlocked seams are stretchier. While an overlocker sews with one or two needles and two loopers, a sewing machine sews with an upper thread and a lower thread that lock together between the fabric layers. In overlock stitching, two threads wrap around the edge of the fabric. Essentially, overlock stitching creates a seam and binds edges at the same time. Due to the special overlocker technique and threading, overlock thread is available on 5000 m cones. Our overlock thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified.

Use it with a 110-130 needle on your sewing machine, depending on the thickness of the material you are working with. Our extra strong thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified. Nm 36/2Nm (metric thread number) = indicates the length of 1 g of thread. Choose one or more favourites, get out your sewing machine, and sew your new outfit.  The material is suitable for almost all types of clothing, but of course, we have some favourites.  One of them is the classic top. Or how about making small adjustments in the design, so you have your favourite top with short, ¾, and long sleeves?  The fabric is suitable for much more than classic tops! The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose from sources like wood pulp or cotton waste. It's similar to natural fibres like cotton and silk. Here, the viscose is mixed with elastane (6%), giving you a stretchable viscose.  You choose the length you need for your sewing project. The fabric measures 145 cm in width and shrinks by 6% when washed.  When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. Properties Lightweight, very fine fusible woven interlining made from synthetic fibres. Weight 30 g/m2 Application areas For the fusing of small parts in blouses and dresses and front parts of elastic jackets. Suitable for lightweight, transparent and sensitive fabrics. Processing As with all interlinings from Vlieseline, this woven interlining is always cut lengthwise following the direction of the thread. Place the interlining on the reverse side of the fabric with the coated side facing down and initially fix in place at a few points at a low temperature to prevent warping. Then cover with a damp cloth and iron on thoroughly, section by section, for around 8 seconds. Do not push the iron. After fixing, lay the pieces down flat to cool down for around 30 minutes to allow the bond to stabilise.
