Supplied in packs of 2, these 6m oil only absorbent booms are filled with super absorbent polypropylene fibre. Oil only absorbent booms are a must have emergency response product wherever large containers of oil based fluids are used and stored.
An absorbent spill boom is used as a barrier for containment during a spill. Designed to remove oil from water the booms have metal clips to link them together with an overlap. They will float indefinitely when deployed on marinas, docklands, rivers, lakes or any area of water. Great for clean up of water based oil spills and anyplace where fuel or oil spills may occur.
Can also be used for placing around the base of leaky machinery or used as a containment dam around a spill puddle. The oil only boom is suitable for all oil based fluids (including lubricants, fuels and vegetable oil) .
The absorbent booms are white in colour which draws attention to machine leaks and clearly shows saturation level during spill response.
