Agapanthus Megans Mauve (Pot Size: 3 Litre Pot)
Agapanthus Megan’s Mauve has a highly unique flower colour – whilst most Agapanthus are dark blues, Megan’s Mauve is a light, almost lilac purple. This will be sure to differentiate this variety from other plants you may have in the garden, or it can even create an effective impact alone in a pot. Agapanthus bear a mound of deep green evergreen foliage, with tall stems shooting from within upholding huge flower heads. It’s flowers are trumpet shaped, with light purple petals with a dark stripe on the inside of each one, giving this variety such a unique look. This plant will look great in full sunlight or partially shaded conditions, where not only can the light radiate off it’s bright flowers, but it’s also where it’ll grow the best, ensuring only the best possible display throughout mid to late summer. Growing up to around 90cm in height, this plant is good for a bed or border where its flowers can rise above other smaller plants below, but this size also makes it great when planted in a low sitting pot. Planting them in a pot can also create more impressive colourful displays, as Agapanthus grow more flowers if their roots are a little constricted.
