Design: Alvar Aalto in 1935 for artek Concept: Bar stool 64 was designed by the designer and architect Alvar Aalto in 1935 for the Teatro Corso in Zurich. It is now a classic and is known worldwide for its timeless design. This bar stool was designed as a taller variant of the 60 stool, and both versions are characterized by Aalto's typical organic L-shaped legs. Bar stool 64 is made of bent, painted birch wood.
