Up to 127 base isolators may be connected to each loop when this isolator is used in enhanced mode. For legacy systems the ZP7-IB2-P also support the old operating modes and are therefore backwards compatibility with legacy isolators.Just as with a standard base the ZP7-IB2-P allows the detector to be removed or replaced without disconnecting loop wiring from the detector.Isolator DesignWith the improved design of the ZP7-IB2-P it is now possible to ensure that no devices are disconnected from the isolated section of cable that could be a small as the cable between two isolator bases. Every detector may be fitted with an isolator base ensuring maximal device operation even in the event of a cable short circuit.Regulatory Loop ProtectionThe ZP7-IB2-P is intended for use on Class-A return loop wiring configurations. By regulation a zone of no more than 32 fire alarm devices must be located between isolators. In the event of a short circuit fault the isolators on either side of the fault disconnects the section of cable between them. Devices inside the zone get disconnected but devices outside the disconnected zone continue to operate normally.The ZP7-IB2-P meets the recommendations for loop monitoring in local codes like BS5839-1.Additional AdvantagesAdding ZP7-IB2-P isolator bases has no effect on device addressing for that loop as they require no addressing. Ziton 71601 ZP3 Repeater PanelDesigned to match the ZP3 main control panel the ZP3-RDU remote display is an attractive low profile unit providing repeat indication and system control at a location remote from the main control panel position. Housed in a small slim enclosure the remote unit has a fascia design and layout in matching style to ZP3 control equipment. Up to 32 remote units can be connected to any central panel.The unit features zonal designation for up to 50 zones a 4 row 160 character back lit liquid crystal display and an at a glance system status LED matrix. Controls are provided for accept reset silence and sound alarms. A restore disabled alarms facility re-enables previously disabled alarm sounders immediately should the need for an evacuation arise.The unit is driven from an optional serial driver card added to the main board within the ZP3 panel enclosure. Wiring to the main control panel is by serial link screened twisted pair which can be daisy chained teed off or spurred. Ziton 2010-2-PAK-RMOH Contact ID PAKThe 2010-2 PAK enables the Contact ID protocol over Ethernet.The fire panel allows for its capabilities to be extended by use of USB dongles. These USB dongles are called PAK which stands for Panel Activation Key. The use of the PAK will activate additional high-end features in the panel. Depending on the required functionality separate and multiple PAKs can be used to enable these functionalities. Functionalities like number of nodesloops supported detector protocol used TCPIP communication protocol for remote monitoring communication towards management software like BACNet or Modbus etc can be enabled by usage of the PAKs.The PAK is tied to the serial number of the panel but does not have to stay connected to the panel. It can be removed once the PAK has been installed and the feature is enabled in the panel. It is therefore recommended that PAKs stays with the panel at all time for example in case of performing reset functions or re-installations.Key FeaturesUSB Dongle which enables Contact ID protocol communication using the ZP2 panels ethernet port.
