Galvanic Isolation Barrier For Conventional SystemsThe GBX2000 is a galvanic isolation barrier selected specifically for use between an Intrinsically safe conventional zone and a zone-monitor.ApplicationEvery GBX2000 4 terminals functions like a DC current isolator with reverse polarity protection. The input and output are galvanically isolated from each other.It is designed for the connection of fire detectors smoke detectors temperature sensors etc. The detectors increased current range and the higher accuracy allow for differentiation between normal operation fire alarm lead breakage and short circuit currents in the safe area. In many cases they may also be used for controlling IP converters. A separate power supply with auxiliary power is not required. Due to the input voltage limiting of 24 V the maximum voltage output is 21 VKey FeaturesThe isolation of power loops for the control of positioner IP converters etc. A current source is connected to the safe area terminals.The isolation of a current signal from fire detectors or similar sensors. In this case a voltage source can be connected to the safe area terminals. A specific measurement current across a passive sensor can be measured in the safe area with a series resistor min. 50 ohm. When a voltage supply is used the measuring resistor can also provide current limitations.

Ziton ZR401-3P Wireless Sensor Base for ZX432-2PThe ZR401-3P is a POLAR WHITE wireless mounting base for use on Ziton 868 MHz wireless fire systems. It allows the ZX432-2P detector to be easily removed and replaced from almost any location. The ZX432-2P connects into the base with a simple twist and lock action allowing quick and easy removal for cleaning and servicing or reselection of device type should the usage of the protected area change.High Integrity CommunicationsA high integrity transmitterreceiver its power supply and aerial are contained within the base moulding which in turn forms an integral part of the overall sensor assembly. The power supplies comprise of self-contained standard alkaline cells providing an energy source for normal site operation for up to 5 years. The system indicates remaining battery capacity on the wireless controller and a low battery condition is sent to the control panel when reached allowing sufficient time for a service engineer to replace the power source during the next service interval.Fully MonitoredThe ZX432-2P multi sensor is fully monitored by the ZR401-3P base. A device-missing signal is transmitted automatically to the main control panel via the radio loop module in the event of a detector being removed from its base. In order to prevent unauthorised removal of a device an automatic locking facility is incorporated into all detector mouldings. If the automatic locking facility is activated the detector can only be removed from its base by use of a special tool. The locking facility is an easily applied option often taken on site during system commissioning.Ease of InstallationThe ZR401-3P base is installed either by direct surface mounting or with surface fixing plates with screw fixing centres between 50 and 90 mm. Ample room for address labels is provided on detector and base ensuring that when removed devices are replaced in the correct location. ZitonFD310H - Additional Detector Pair 5 - 120m for FD310The FD310 End to End infrared Optical Beam Smoke Detector OBSD has been designed using the latest optical technology incorporating modern industrial electronic and software techniques. This detector offers cost effective protection of large open area spaces with high ceilings. It is also very suited to applications where access to ceiling mounted smoke detectors presents practical difficulties.OperationThe system comprises a modern looking Transmitter head which emits a narrow beam of infra-red light to an associated Receiver head with a compact Low Level Controller. Once smoke crosses through and thus obscures the IR beam path the signal strength at the Receiver drops below a preset level which in turn results in an alarm condition. Both the detector heads Transmitter and Receiver have integrated alignment thumbwheels for ease of alignment. Using these thumbwheels provides a smooth and repeatable alignment process. The detector heads have up to 10 degrees of adjustment in both planes. For further adjustment a bespoke Adjustment Bracket is available which offers up to 180 degrees movement in both planes as well as a full 360-degree rotation.The FD310 has been designed so that it can be installed by one operator with its laser assisted alignment method combined with easy to use alignment LEDs offering a visual feedback. Integrated laser alignment aid can be activated at the Controller or at the Receiver head.The low level Controller incorporates a LCD display which offers a full icon-based easy-to-use interface unit.
