The VPS-250-E5 variant is VdS certified and CE marked to the EN54-4 so is particularly suitable for use in territories where these approvals are required. It may also be suitable in territories where ISO 7240-4 is required.VPS-250-E5 3A load 38Ah batteries maxThis power supply is capable of powering larger ASD units including the VESDA-E VEU at all fan speeds and the VESDA-E VEA detectors. It may also be used for installations with multiple detectors andor remote displays. The internal charger is EN54-4 certified to power loads up to 3A and there is space and charging capacity for batteries up to 38 Ah batteries. Uniquely the unit is supplied with the provision to deliver 4 separately fused outputs recommended when it is used to power multiple detectors or disparate loads. This is a very versatile unit which can deliver to a combined 24Vdc load of up to 3A. The front cover supports 2 LEDs to provide visual indication of Healthy status OK or fault condition and various knockouts exist to provide convenient cabling access to detectors remote displays or subracks. Two versions are available 2 rack up to 8 Modules and 5 rack up to 20 Modules.19 Subracks ordered separately as VSR-xxxx are mounted on a swing frame for convenient connection of all the cables. Cable entry for 24VDC power VESDAnet connection and interfacing to the relays is provided by a removable gland plate which is drilled as required on site. 19 Subracks and 3U blank panels must be ordered separately.Detector or single remote display EnclosureA detector enclosure is also available which incorporates a small glass window to view an on-board display.This detector enclosure enables a single detector or remote module to be installed in challenging environments where a high IP rating is required.The enclosure can accommodate a single VESDA VLP VESDA VLS VESDA VLC or VESDA VLF detector or a single remote module such as a VRT-200. Each clip is colour-coded to indicate a specific hole diameter providing an instant visual guide and removing the need for closer inspection.This is particularly beneficial during commissioning and maintenance processes in applications like warehouses or large open spaces. The greatly simplified installation process helps deliver greater reliability in the correct setting of sampling hole size and a faster installation process. A 10mm 2764 diameter drill bit is all that is required by an installer to create each sampling hole rather than many different drill sizes to which the Sampling Hole Clip attaches to.This can help deliver quality installation in projects where installation is sub contracted or the installer is not familiar with the impact of sampling hole size. Use of a chamfered hole entry in the sampling hole clip design can help to reduce dust loading effects.Without using this type of technology a build-up of dust around a standard drilled sampling hole is likely to occur due to the friction created by the airflow through the sampling hole.
