System Sensor M210EA Single Input Monitor ModuleThe newly designed platform of M200 family of Input Output modules completes the S200AP line of wired spot detectors with unaltered family feeling and undisputed continuity.The new M200 look and feel combine maximum reliability with top-end functionality all enriched by a cutting-edge modern design.Single and multi-way models are available within the renewed mechanical package reducing both the cost of installation and the mounting space required.Their unique mechanical design allows each module to be mounted in either a common wall box on a DIN rail or its dedicated enclosure. The DIN rail mounting option is possible thanks to smart DIN brackets directly built-in the enclosure. Irrespective of the mounting methods chosen the address switch is always visible and accessible for selection.Each module has built-in short circuit protection for the communications loop however to increase application flexibility the isolators can be selecteddeselected on an individual module basis.To help technicians in the maintenance and fault-finding process light pipes have been enlarged to increase visibility even in the most challenging space constrained application. Both the status LED and the rotary switch selection can be viewed on the two sides without having to remove the cover of the surface mounting box. System Sensor M200XE Loop Isolation ModuleThere is a large number of System Sensor intelligent fire alarm systems the address loop with a recipient device up to 198 is protected by a single one loop interruption but in the case of loop short circuit the entire loop it may become inoperable. With the M200XE modules shorting is not desired can be reduced.Only a small part of the system falls out if the loop is broken down into isolators because in the case of a possible loop only the two isolators will not be available to the control panel. If the address loop voltage drops below 7V the isolator module - with FET on the branch breaks it off the loop in the non-short-term part of the address loop the assets remain operational. If the breakdown the loop voltage rises on one side of the module then the separated short-circuit loop section 3 mA max. 15 mA control current flows through the module.In isolation the address loop wires between min. 2.2 kOhm resistance. The isolated state is maintained until the voltage of the disconnected section is 7V the short-circuit or the abnormally high current consumption ceases to exist. After the termination of the termination the isolator disengages the loop automatically.The two-colour LED on the module flashes green in the normal state of the loop every 3 seconds. If the module on any side it detects a short-circuit it illuminates with continuous yellow light during the shutter. The M200XE module in the M200E-SMB mounting box is wall-mounted with the M200E-DIN clip directly on the DIN rail M200E-PMB clip can be mounted in the fire panels box.
