Srixon Q Star Tour Golf Balls - Yellow The Q Star Tour Golf Ball has been created by Srixon so that golfers are able to play with a golf ball that provides incredible distance on every shot, while still having plenty of greenside spin to bring every long approach shot to the green to a solid stop.  Srixon has been able to create a golf ball that offers the same distance capabilities of tour-level distance while still offering exceptional feel and control. This performance has been made possible thanks to the FastLayer Core that has been used, which features a soft inner core that very gradually becomes harder as it approaches the outer edge. This core has also been constructed with a lower overall compression, so shots using golf clubs such as drivers, fairway woods and golf hybrids fly much straighter down the fairway.  A thermoplastic urethane cover has been used on this golf ball to allow for much more stretch and bend so that when struck with a golf wedge or iron there is much more friction between the grooves on the clubface to maximise greenside spin. While a new long side stamp Q-Star Tour logo has been added to this golf ball to work as an alignment aid to ensure that golfers can clearly see where their golf putter is set to send the ball at the address for much more accurate putting. One of the added features that helps to allow this golf ball to fly straighter while also maximising the amount of lift and distance that can be generated is the use of the 338 Speed Dimple Pattern. This 338 system creates a much more aerodynamic airflow around the golf ball when travelling through the air which helps to boost distance and accuracy, even when playing in windy conditions.  Features FastLayer Core A FastLayer Core provides distance and soft feel without compromise due to a gradual transition from soft inner core to firm outer edge.
