Lovely, high-quality thread made of 100 % polyester. The thread has high elasticity. It is core spun, which means that it is compact and durable, and sheds little fibre. You can use it for backstitch but it's also great for larger projects sewn on an overlocker. The 1000-metre spool is efficient on a sewing machine. You can use it for a long time without having to re-thread your machine. The sewing thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified and available in a sea of beautiful colours.

An extra strong sewing thread, made of 100 % polyester, that is incredibly strong due to its high breaking strength and elasticity. Use it with a 110-130 needle on your sewing machine, depending on the thickness of the material you are working with. Our extra strong thread is OEKO-TEX 100 certified. Nm 36/2Nm (metric thread number) = indicates the length of 1 g of thread. The higher the number, the finer the thread.Example:Nm 30/1 means that 30 m weighs one gram and that the thread consists of a single strand.Nm 30/2 means that 30 m weighs two grams and that the thread is twisted from two single strands.

Our acrylic coated woven oilcloth fabrics have a matte surface very similar to regular fabric cloth. They add a touch of elegance and luxury to any home décor. Always use the tablecloth with the acrylic coated side facing upwards. You can easily wipe of foods and beverages of the oilcloth, however, be aware of types like ketchup, sauces, oil dressings, lemonade and the like can leave stains. Always wipe of immediately with a damp cloth, wrung in warm water if necessary, with a little detergent. It prolongs the service life. For stubborn stains, you can wash the tablecloth at 30 degrees in the washing machine, but do not use the spin cycle and tumble dryer. We recommend ironing the tablecloth after each wash to activate the water and dirt-repelling treatment. Remember to iron the tablecloth on the back. Note: This type of oilcloth is not suitable for damp outdoor environments. Remember to always bring the tablecloth inside after outdoor use. Can be discoloured by the sun. Note! Some practicalities This fabric is made up of 96% organic cotton and 4% elastane. You choose the length you need for your DIY project.   When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, characterised by its medium point – also known as a ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80. That means it's perfect for lining a jacket or a nice, fluffy vest, for example. This is how easy it is to make a fleece blanketChoose the colour and cut the blanket to the exact size you want and voila: you have a new fleece blanket. It doesn't get any easier than this. And yes - it's good enough - you don't need to sew the edges; the material won't run. If you want to give your rug a nice finish with a sewn edge, we recommend using jersey needles, which are specially developed for qualities like this. They penetrate the fabric easily without leaving holes. Or how about making a reversible blanket or vest with two different colours of fleece - double up on warmth, softness and use. Fleece dries quickly, is robust and durable and therefore very easy to bring along, for example as extra blankets in the caravan. Practical information about polar fleeceThe fabric is 145 cm wide and you buy it by the metre, so you get the length you need.
