International Gas Detectors Duct Mount Pitot Kit 5139002The pitot duct adaptor relies on the gas velocity in a process to induce a flow in the probe to deliver gas to the gas detector. Typical applications are ventilation duct monitoring in a variety of processes. With this type of unit the detector is remote from the pilot assembly by tubing. This is particularly useful where mounting onto sheet metal duct work which will not take the weight of Type 3 Type 4 or Dynamic style adaptors. Note that this style of probe works best where there is negligible duct and debris in the gas system.

With only two wires for power and communication existing systems can be easily upgraded using existing cables with the option to easily add more detectors where required.Tocsin 750 Series detector systems have a number of standard interfaces available on-board each unit. The standard PCB set allows interface either Toxic Oxygen or Flammable Detectors. Communication to the system controller uses IGDs latest Sentinel 2-Wire protocol for speed of installation and increased reliability. Existing analogue systems can be quickly updated to 2-Wire addressable systems.
