The Gold Rider Cypress, named for its yellow/gold foliage is a common sight across the gardens of Britain. They require very little maintenance and can be left to grow on their own. However, if used for hedging, their dense leaves and branches will probably need to be trimmed each year to maintain the hedgerow's smooth shape and tidy appearance (if desired).
