These Forgefix, Multi-Purpose Pozi Compatible Screws feature a countersunk, pozidrive compatible, recessed head. They have a zinc yellow passivated finish offering more corrosion resistance than zinc plated products, thanks to an additional passivation process. They offer quick and easy insertion due to an extra deep insert bit recess, enabling a firmer, more positive drive. The single thread, and special wax coating, increase speed and ease of insertion. The single thread design also provides increased holding power, particularly when used with particle boards like MDF. The Forgefix screws are highly versatile and immensely popular, these single thread screws are perfect for a whole host of fixing needs, and are ideal for fixing into a range of substrates including softwoods, hardwoods, chipboards and fibreboards. They are suitable for numerous ironmongery, joinery, electrical and plumbing applications.

These ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws have a universally accepted, Pozi compatible drive. They have 6 underhead lobes for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, and reinforced countersunk necks which improve holding power. The screws have an anti-friction thread for reduced splitting of the timber, reduced 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber and improved drawing strength. The thread is serrated for improved pull-out and reduced torque when inserting the screw. The double cutting point allows faster drilling time and reduced clogging of wood dust and is capable of piercing 0.8mm steel. The screws have a 'Elementech 400' coating providing an anti-corrosive metal finish, which lasts up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. The coating is environmentally friendly and does not contain Cr6+. It is Salt Spray tested to 400 hours. The screws are suitable for interior use.

These Forgefix high-low thread Concrete Frame Screws are Zinc Yellow Passivated for increased resistance to corrosion. They offer a virtually stress free fixing, allowing close to edge applications. They are through-fixing, eliminating the need for marking and re-positioning when fixing batons etc. The Torx compatible head of the screw enables increased torque control. Supplied complete with a Torx compatible bit. APPLICATION:Extremely popular fixing for window and door frames. Also now used as a versatile fixing for many applications in DIY, Joinery, Plumbing and Electrical trades. The Zinc Yellow Passivation process of electroplating is similar to the 'Galvanised' and 'Zinc Plated' processes but with the addition of a yellow dye. It offers an aesthetically pleasing finish, whilst having excellent resistance to corrosion. By design, TORX compatible head screws resist cam-out much better than Phillips or Slotted screws. Where Phillips heads were designed to cause the driver to cam out, to prevent over-tightening, TORX compatible heads were designed to prevent it and to achieve a desired torque consistently. TORX compatible head sizes are described using the capital letter 'T', followed by a number. A smaller number corresponds to a smaller point-to-point dimension of the screw head. Only the proper driver can drive a specific head size without risk of ruining the driver or screw. High-Low Thread screws have an excellent holding power in wood due to their alternating high and low thread heights.
