Carrier CDC4-EN 4-8 Door Controller For Advisor Advanced - EN ApprovedThe CDC4-EN is a 4-8 door lift controller. It provides for a complete and versatile access control solution to extend the Advisor Advanced and Axon system with advanced access control functions. It provides a complete integrated real-time alarm and access control system for four up to eight doors or lifts with power supply and housing. A total of 12 doorlift controllers can be connected to an Advisor Advanced or Axon panel providing for a total of 48 up to 96 full access doors. The CDC4-EN doorlift controller can operate off-line with no degradation in performances should communication with the Advisor Advanced panel fail as it offers full offline operation. This combined intrusion and access solution reduces wiring and required devices as the same devices like readers and inputs can be used for both purposes. Being EN50131 and NFa2p approved the inputs and power supply for door contacts and detectors can be used as part of an approved intrusion system.Door and lift control can be used in one single door controller by configuring doors to lifts. The CDC4-EN provides for the same size and connector arrangement as the ATS1250 including 4 Wiegand interfaces. The DGP can be expanded to a total of 32 inputs and 32 outputs. It has a built-in 3 A switched mode power supply.Data Gathering PanelsData Gathering Panels DGPs are used to expand the number of alarm inputs in an ATS MASTER ATS Classic system. DGPs allow inputs and outputs relays to be connected at a location remote from an ATS Classic panel. DGPs communicate via poll reply messages. Detectors door contacts and other detection devices are connected to DGPs that report any change of state to the control panel for processing. Available DGPs include support for conventional devices wireless devices as well as intelligent addressable devices. A special DGP available supports expansion of four intelligent doors or lifts.System databus connectionThe system databus is used to connect Data Gathering Panels as well as keypads and readers RASs to the ATS classic control panel. Microphone can be daisy chained with up to 35 microphones. Number of connected microphones depends on the total length of the Cat5e cable and supply voltage.To operate the device first select the Zones by pressing designated buttons and then press MIC button. The Mic LED will start blinking green for the time of matrix activation. When Mic led is green and red ring on the goose neck lights up microphone is ready for live announcement. On the other microphones connected in the chain AUX LED and MIC LED are blinking indicating that live announcement is being broadcast on other microphone. When finished transmitting the message release the MIC button to deactivate the gooseneck micOnly one microphone can have aux input active. To use it please connect device to 35mm jack socket market as AUX select the zones to which AUX signal will be transfer and select AUX button to create connection. Green led on Aux indicates that microphone has active aux input on the other microphones in the chain AUX LED is blinking green. Microphone always has the higher priority over the AUX.
