Apollo SA7800-870APO Touch Screen Portable Test Set UnitThe Apollo Test Set is a portable test unit featuring a touch screen display capable of providing several functions in interrogating and controlling all devices connected to the unit either individual devices or compete circuits of analogue addressable devices in the Apollo ranges CoreProtocol Discovery and XP95.How does the product workThe standard view allows devices to be scanned and controlled through the manipulation of the devices output bits. Devices can also be self-tested using the test set and the different functionality modes can also be controlled. The unit may be powered from an AC mains charger unit or from its own internal batteries. The loop or individual address can be connected to the unit using loop connection ports which are located on the top of the device. What problem does this help solveThe device also has the functionality to test the diagnostics and integrity of the loop to find earth faults etc. The device offers fault finding capabilities which allows for time spent on site to be cut down during the commissioning stage of the system installation. The result of this is time reduced on site for the end user which reduces the overall costs of installing Apollo systems.Kit ContainsThe Apollo Test Set UnitA universal chargerTwo red connector cablesTwo black connector cablesTwo yellow connector cablesGreen connector cableXPERT 8 Intelligent Mounting BaseCarry strapQuick Start Guide

Apollo XP95 Optical Smoke Detector 55000-600APO

Apollo XP95 Optical Smoke Detector 55000-600APO

Apollo XP95 Optical Smoke Detector - 55000-600APOThe XP95 range of analogue addressable fire detectors uses tried and trusted technology to give the best performance and has unique features that benefit the installer and the end user. It is suitable for medium-to-large applications with simple installation requirements. As it operates using digital communication XP95 has a high immunity from corruption and is therefore often preferred in a large system where life safety is critical. XP95 products are frequently used in commercial industrial financial government ITtelecoms and healthcare applications.Device AddressingEach XP95 device responds to interrogation and command from central control equipment. It communicates to the panel information on status command bits type location and other information that allows an alarm to be raised even when the device is not itself being interrogated. Message error checking is also provided. The devices are compatible with Discovery systems and control equipment to aid maintenance extension and upgrade of existing systems.A unique patented XPERT card provides simple user friendly and accurate identification of detector location whereby a coded card inserted in the base is read by any detector once it is plugged in. All the electronic components are in the detector but the location information is held in the base. The address card simplifies and speeds up installation and commissioning. Addressing errors during maintenance and service are eliminated.Brand FeaturesAlarm flag for fast alarm reportingAlarm address for fast location of alarmXPERT 7 Card addressingElectronics-free baseEasy installationElegant designKey FeaturesXP95 Discovery and CoreProtocol compatibleResponds well to slowburning smouldering firesWell-suited to bedrooms and escape routesUnaffected by wind or atmospheric pressure

Apollo XP95 Manual Call Point with Isolator - 55100-908APO

Apollo XP95 Manual Call Point with Isolator - 55100-908APO

Apollo XP95 Manual Call Point with Isolator - 55100-908APOThe XP95 range of analogue addressable fire detectors uses tried and trusted technology to give the best performance and has unique features that benefit the installer and the end user. It is suitable for medium-to-large applications with simple installation requirements. As it operates using digital communication XP95 has a high immunity from corruption and is therefore often preferred in a large system where life safety is critical. XP95 products are frequently used in commercial industrial financial government ITtelecoms and healthcare applications. The new Apollo XP95 EN54-112001 compliant Manual Call Point MCP is based on the KAC conventional MCP range. It is electronically and mechanically backward compatible with previous Apollo call points based on KACs World Series product. The address of each call point is set at the commissioning stage by means of a seven-segment DIL switch.A single bi-coloured alarm LED is provided on the call point. This LED is controlled independently of the call point by the control panel. The red LED is lit when the call point has been activated. An amberyellow LED indicates a fault. Call points can be remotely tested from the panel by transmission of a single bit in the communications protocol. Call points respond by providing a value of 64 which corresponds to the alarm value. The choice of detector from the XP95 range follows well established principles of system design. The optimum detector type will depend on the type of fire riskfire load and the type of environment in which the detector is sited.Key FeaturesA seven-segment DIL switch enables the addressing of each call point at commissioning stageWhen operated the manual call point interrupts the polling cycle for a fast responseBi-coloured LEDs indicate isolate and normal conditions

Apollo XP95 Heat Detector Standard Temperature 55000-400APO

Apollo XP95 Heat Detector Standard Temperature 55000-400APO

Apollo XP95 Heat Detector Standard Temperature 55000-400APOThe XP95 Heat Detector monitors temperature by using a single thermistor which provides a count output proportional to the external air temperature. The XP95 range features two heat detectors standard and high temperature. The standard heat detector is classified as an A2S device and will report an alarm at 55C. The high temperature detector classified as a CS device will report an alarm at 90C.Brand InformationThe XP95 range of analogue addressable fire detectors uses tried and trusted technology to give the best performance and has unique features that benefit the installer and the end user. It is suitable for medium-to-large applications with simple installation requirements. As it operates using digital communication XP95 has a high immunity from corruption and is therefore often preferred in a large system where life safety is critical. XP95 products are frequently used in commercial industrial financial government ITtelecoms and healthcare applications.OperationThe XP95 heat detectors have a low air flow resistance case made of self-extinguishing white polycarbonate. The devices monitor heat by using a single thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the external air temperature. The standard heat detectors 55000-400 and 55000-420 respond to increasing air temperature in such a way that they are classified as an A2S device. Both devices will give 55 counts at 55C. A high temperature CS heat detector 55000-401 which can be installed in a typical ambient temperature of 55C is available. This device will give 55 counts at 90C.Key FeaturesIdeal in environments that are dirty or smoky under normal conditionsWell-suited to warehouses loading bays and car parksUnaffected by wind or atmospheric pressureOther part codes include AD-2002

Apollo XP95 DIN-Rail Sounder Controller 5 Amperes 55000-182APO

Apollo XP95 DIN-Rail Sounder Controller 5 Amperes 55000-182APO

Please note This product currently has an extended leadtime due to a component shortage. Please contact us for further information.Apollo XP95 DIN-Rail Sounder Controller 5 Amperes 55000-182APOThe DIN-Rail Sounder Controller 5 Amperes is used to control the operation of a zone of externally powered sounders and report their status to the control panel.Electrical DescriptionThe DIN-rail Sounder Controller is loop powered and operates at 1728V DC. It requires a local power supply of 1235V DC to power the external load which may be up to 5A. A polarising diode is required with each alarm device as sounders are operated by voltage reversal provided by a double-pole change-over relay. The sounder circuit is protected by a fuse rated at 5A quick acting.OperationThe Sounder Controller allows sounders to be operated continuously or be pulsed 1 second on 1 second off. Sounders may be operated individually or in groups and whichever address mode has been applied may be synchronised when in pulsed operation. An opto-coupled input is provided to monitor the state of the external power supply. In normal operation the Sounder Controller returns a pre-set analogue value of 16 but in the event of an open or short-circuit fault or of a fault in the external power supply the unit returns a pre-set analogue value of 4.Key FeaturesAllows sounders to be operated continuously or be pulsed 1 second on 1 second offMay be synchronised with loop soundersAn opto-coupled input is provided to monitor the state of the external power supplyFeatures group addressingWill accept a load of up to 5A
