The independent Swedish studio Simogo is responsible for the creation of the title.Long ago, the harmony of a parallel universe held by three mighty arcana was shattered by a cursed master, the Little Death, and a group of his minions. It crossed the astral highways, destroying order in the cosmos and canceling out the forces of these mighty three. Before they were completely gone, they made a heroine out of pieces of broken hearts, hoping that one day she would restore order to the world. This moment comes when our protagonist experiences a heartbreak that brutally breaks her heart, and in her dreams she is haunted by a diamond butterfly that leads her to a dreamlike world. There, the protagonist meets her alter ego, a motorcyclist called the Fool, and by participating in races on highways in the sky, she tries to bring order to the chaotic world.Sayonara Wild Hearts is an arcade racing and rhythm game in which, while rushing on neon highways, we collect scattered hearts, avoid obstacles, jump over chasms and fight enemies. The races include skateboarding and motorbike riding, but also various activities such as dance performances, sailing a sailboat, sword fights, archery with laser beams and many others. The game plays with convention so much that in one race we jump from one activity to another at a rapid pace. As a result, the game, despite the short gameplay time, still surprises and poses new challenges.The whole game consists of 23 levels, and each of them can be completed with a specific rank - bronze, silver or gold - depending on the number of hearts collected and correctly executed sequences. We can also go back to any level and play it again to improve our score. Each level is a different piece of music that suits the challenge we face. These are mainly electro-pop songs with female vocals, which are not only intended to make the gameplay more pleasant, but also constitute an integral part of the game mechanics. Thanks to listening and understanding the rhythm of a given song, we get tips from the game on how to lead our character and react to the dynamically changing image on the screen.
