Aico Relay Module with 5A Relay Rechargeable Back-up Ei128RBUThe Ei128RBU is a Relay Module that runs on a 230V AC mains power and has built-in tamper-proof Lithium cells that act as a battery back up in the event of mains failure. These rechargeable lithium cells are designed to have a 10-year life and outlast the life of the module itself whilst providing up to 2 months of operation without mains power.The Module has a set of Volt free contacts Normally Open and Normally Closed as standard but can be configured to give a 230V output or a 24V output using an external 24V supply.Any combination of30002110e160e 140RC or 260RC Series alarms can be used up to 12 including the Relay.The Module is designed to fit underneath any smoke or heat alarm. However a cover is supplied if there is a need for siting the unit remotely.The Module has additional trunking knock outs for ease of wiring.The Module can give a Continuous or pulse output. The pulse output will switch back the Relay contacts to their original state after 5 seconds operation.Operation of the Ei128RBUOn receiving a signal form the alarm system the Relay contacts will be operated causing a signal to be sent to the device to which it is connected.The Ei128RBU can be used to switch into a range of devices ranging from warden call systems to panel systems.When modified for a 230V or 24V output they can operate a range of different devices.The Module can be switched to give a pulse output or continuous output for different applications.Technical Specification The Relay is designed to operate whilst the alarm system is sounding to signal devices such as panels warden call systems nurse call systems etc. When any of the interconnected alarms sound the signal will cause the relay contacts to switch.The Relay runs on 230V AC mains power and has built in tamper proof Lithium cells that act as a battery back up in the event of mains failure. Aico Ei414 RadioLINK FireCO Alarm InterfaceThe Ei414 Fire CO Alarm Interface provides either a wireless interface via RF or a hard wired interface via a link cable between a RadioLINK Alarm system and a Warden Call Telecare System.The Ei414 decodes RF Fire and or CO signals from the RadioLINK and RadioLINK devices and activates the relevant onboard relays. The relays must be wired to the universal RF transmitters or via a special link cable to the Warden Call Systems. The Warden Call System in turn is programmed to perform the desired function on receipt of these signals.The Ei414 can deliver either a pulse signal or a continuous switched signal via the relays to the universal transmitters. It enables wireless interconnection with up to 12 other SmartLINK RadioLINK compatible devices and supports hybrid communication allowing for devices to be hardwired or wirelessly interlinked.This module simply plugs into the designated slot on the back of all Ei3000 series alarm heads. No external parts are left exposed as the small antenna is fully enclosed within the alarm unit once fitted. Once the alarm is powered up the RF LED on the side of the alarm device will flash red blue and green which indicates that the module is correctly fitted and operating.The Ei3000MRF is a short-range device which uses a transceiver to receive transmit and repeat the RadioLINK RF communication protocol.
