Advanced Lux Intelligent Serial to Ethernet Interface UP-017The UP-017 serial to ethernet converter permits remote interaction and monitoring of the Lux Intelligent emergency lighting test panel. It is an economical and easy way to monitor panels from anywhere across the installation using its local area network. It means there is no need to network panels across an installation just simply tag each one on to the sites internal network.By simply connecting to a local network hub it does away with the need to network groups of panels and allows any number of computers on the network to download test data. In turn this facilitates access to the full Lux Intelligent Cloud and the associated mobile and desktop apps. The device can be easily installed into any panel running from the internal auxiliary power supply.The device is supplied with the serial interface lead for connecting to the panel all that is required is a data connection to the the closest local network hub. The device is easily configured using a standard Windows tool simply allocating it an IP address and associated gateway information.The serial communications are then set up to match those of the panel and full access to the panel is available over the network. Controls can be configured so that only known IP addresses can access the device and password protection can be set. The device comes complete with the software tool for programming it and is compatible with Windows 9598MENT2000XP2003Vista2008788.1. The handheld battery-operated pager is specifically programmed to work supporting all the features of the LifeLine system in order meet the relevant standards.The pager is easy to use with six large buttons forming the user interface. Two of the buttons are soft keys menu driven from the display to allow quick and easy access to messages.Features include various tone and vibration settings and a selection of individual alarms an operator can set with all messages date and time stamped. Advanced MxPro MXP-542 24VDC - 24VDC Convertor IsolatorA 24VDC - 24VDC Convertor Isolator for use with Mxp-631 Fib.The Mxp-631 media converters are equipped with a multiple interface circuit that can handle RS-232 or RS-422485 serial interfaces and multi-mode or single-mode fiber. Mxp-631 converters are used to extend serial transmission up to 5km Mxp-631-MM with multi-mode fiber or up to 40km Mxp-631-SM with single-mode fiber. The Mxp-631 converters can be configured to convert either RS-232 signals or RS422485 signals but not both at the same time.The Mxp-631 converters can automatically detect the serial baudrate. This is an extremely convenient feature. Even if a devices baudrate is changed the signal will still be transmitted through the media converter without any data loss.The Mxp-631 converters can be used to connect serial devices to a fiber ring. To form the ring connect to the Tx port of one Mxp-631 to the Rx port of a neighbouring converter. Once the ring is set up simply use the DIP switches to configure the Mxp-631 converters for ring mode. When one node transmits a signal the signal travels around the ring until it returns back to the transmitting unit which then blocks the signal.
