Similarly to the previous covers of the Bat-Man cycle, he can enter many buildings, thanks to which he can visit, among others, a police station, bank office or a luxury hotel. Gameplay Batman: Arkham Origins is a prequel to the series, and the writers were inspired by the comics Batman: Year One and Legends of the Dark Knight. The action takes place on Christmas Eve, a few years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum. The Bat-Man is just starting his superhero career, while one of the most dangerous villains in Gotham City - Black Mask has appointed a prize on his head. Batman must confront the villains hunting him and discover why someone wants him dead. Game Modes Batman Arkham Origins can be played in single player or multi player mode. The later mode is a new thing introduced to the series: Invisible Predator Online follows a gang war that broke in Blackgate Prison between the Joker and the Bane, two greatest villains of the Gotham City. Three Joker’s gang members fight against three Bane’s gang members and also a team of Batman and Robin, in turns.
