Everything depends on the way the game is played and the territorial possession of the person sitting in front of the computer.  In Hearts of Iron III, as in the previous installments of the series, the authors do not impose any specific choices. It is only up to the player whether he or she will lead one of the powers, or decide to lead one of the countries that do not have adequate military and economic reserves. In this way, the level of difficulty of the game and the challenges ahead are also regulated.  Due to the very high complexity of the previous parts of the series and the idea of ​​continuous development of the program, the creators decided to completely change the interface, so despite its complexity, the game has a chance to appeal not only to die-hard fans of complex strategies. The level of interference in the decision-making process of the state's development will depend only on the player. If she is interested in the smallest details, there is nothing to prevent her from supervising the process of creating even the smallest element - or by recruiting individual army battalions or by supervising every element of scientific research.
