Story In 3025, the galaxy is devastated by the relentless conflict between the aristocratic families that govern entire planets and even sectors of the cosmos. Due to the ban on the use of nuclear weapons and orbital bombardments, powerful combat machines called mechs are used in the fights . The player takes on the role of the commander of a mercenary unit, who is drawn into a brutal, interstellar civil war and helps the deprived queen to regain the throne seized by the usurper. Gameplay The gameplay in BattleTech can be divided into two parts. The first is turn-based clashes, during which we control our pilots and use their machines , weapons, special skills and varied terrain to outsmart the enemy. We most often observe the battlefield from an isometric perspective, but while performing attacks and movements, the camera changes its position (similar to e.g. in the XCOM cycle ). However, for better readability of the battlefield, the tracking options can be turned off, focusing only on the overall view of the battlefield.
