Crusader Kings II: Legacy of Rome is the second (after Sword of Islam) expansion to Crusader Kings II, one of the most interesting strategies of 2012. As the name suggests, the project focuses on a legacy left by the Roman Empire, specifically the Byzantine Empire. Everything was redesigned by the internal Paradox Interactive studio. The expansion pack requires the base game to work.The extension allows you to play the role of the ruler of the Byzantine Empire or part of it. The authors prepared maps full of details and filled them with characters with their own personalities. Players wishing to test their strength in this place full of conspiracies and betrayals must face, among others with chaos caused by disgruntled vassals who have been divided into many different factions. However, they are able to forget about their differences, as long as there is a good opportunity to rebel and remove us from power. Dealing with such a danger is much more difficult than suppressing rebellions known from the basic version of the game. Vassals are smart and their combined forces are a real challenge. However, the new faction system will not only cause us problems. Smart players will use it for their own purposes.
