Velvet Assassin is an action game in which the main character's struggles are observed from the perspective of a third person. This production was developed by the German company Replay Studios, i.e. the authors of, among others Tunnel Rats shootings .StoryThe plot of the game is set in the realities of World War II, and the player takes on the role of an agent of the British MI6 intelligence service, Violette Summer. During her adventures, the main character visits France (Paris), Germany (Hamburg port) and Poland (occupied Warsaw), sabotaging enemy structures and eliminating high-ranking officers. The gameplay is linear, although in addition to performing the main tasks, it is also possible to find secret intelligence files or hidden treasures.GameplayIn the production in question, a lot of emphasis was placed on the necessity to remain hidden at all times. For most of the game, Violette moves in the shadows, avoiding enemy guards or attacking them by surprise. In the latter case, the player can count on many effective executions. The environment is partially interactive, so you can turn off the lights to distract opponents, electrocute your enemies or expose them to poisonous substances. In addition to a reliable knife, Violette also uses other tools of extermination, including silenced pistols, flare guns and sniper rifles. However, the ammunition is very limited, forcing the player to be less aggressive in the game.
