The production was developed by Beep Games studios (whose portfolio includes, among others, the three-dimensional platformer VooDoo Vince Remastered and a puzzle game called Light Tracer ) and Tribetoy (authors of the Bow to Blood series ).StoryBartlow's Dread Machine tells an alternate version of the story, according to which in 1907, so long before the heyday of electronics, inventor Arthur Harrington Bartlow created the first arcade machine . Although the machine was supposed to be used for fun, it often injured users, so it did not gain popularity and, as a consequence, was lost in the mists of history along with its author. The notes left by Bartlow and the surviving fragments of the machine were supposed to allow the Beep Games team to faithfully recreate the machine in the described video game.GameplayWe start playing Bartlow's Dread Machine by choosing one of eight agents , each of which has individual abilities and uses a different weapon. In addition, alternative versions of historical characters are waiting to be unlocked here, such as Marksman Annie Oakley or General George Custer, who appears here as a zombie. During the game, we observe the action from a bird's eye view - sometimes the camera presents the events a bit more from the side, and in other cases it is positioned directly above the heads of the protagonists.
