Gameplay
In Slice, Dice & Rice, the action is presented from the side. We can choose from a pool of eight different players. In addition to the above-mentioned MonkeyKing equipped with a stick, we can lead to battle, among others, a slow Yoketsu armed with a heavy sword, a fast and agile Benkei who is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, or even a Tomoe who massacres adversaries using hooks. Each character has a unique story that we can learn while playing. Extremely bloody and brutal duels take place in six different arenas. Compared to most other fights, the position described here is distinguished by the absence of health bars - the struggle comes down to finding gaps in the opponent's defense and trying to deliver one effective blow. Despite the fact that the developers have not decided to implement a system of combining attacks, the range of actions is wide - while playing, we can mark blows and, if necessary, parry enemy attacks or perform lightning dodges.
