The plot is based on the themes of a series of novels by the Russian writer Dimitriy Głuchowski.The action takes place in the near future, in a world destroyed by a nuclear apocalypse. Most of the cities were razed to the ground and their inhabitants met their deaths. Only a handful of people survived, including a group of several thousand who, when the bombs fell, were in the Moscow metro, which is the largest fallout shelter in history. In the following years, they created their own self-sufficient community underground. On the surface, however, radiation has mutated the animals, turning them into monsters that increasingly attack the last bastions of humanity.We play the role of Artyom again, the hero of the first part. Metro 2033 had two different endings. For the purposes of the sequel, the creators had to decide which of them would turn out to be true. Ultimately, the more pessimistic of the finals was chosen.Metro: Last Light is an action game with a first-person perspective. Most of the time, our task is to break through the linear levels and shoot enemies. At the same time, the fun is diversified by stealth sections, in which the best tactic is to eliminate enemies silently. In addition, the creators drew inspiration from the survival horror genre. This means that we often run out of ammo, and quite a few levels are designed to scare players.Compared to the first part, more large locations have appeared where it is possible to use different tactics and choose several paths to the goal. Compilation sequences, the artificial intelligence of opponents and the dynamics of clashes have also been improved. The arsenal of available weapons has also been expanded. It is worth adding that the exciting clashes, however, do not dominate the survival horror sequences known from the previous Metro. The proportions between the two styles remained the same as in the first part.

Escape Dead Island is one of the spin-offs of the Dead Island series, initiated as a first-person action RPG by Techland studio from Wrocław, and then transferred by Deep Silver to other developers. In this case, we are dealing with an action-adventure game with a TPP view, which is the work of the Swedish studio Fatshark (we owe him, among others, online action games in historical realities, entitled War of the Roses and War of the Vikings). In terms of the chronology of events, Escape Dead Island is a bridge between the first installment of the series (2011 Dead Island) and the second installment released in 2015, with the goal of clarifying the mystery of the genesis of the virus that turns people into zombies and introducing players to Dead Island. 2.  The main character of this title is a young Cliff Calo, the spoiled son of a media magnate who has the ambition to make the document of the century, revealing the truth about the Banoi Island virus to the world.
