Wildjac Natural Dry Gin (Mini) 5cl

Wildjac Natural Dry Gin Based in the Wyre Forest, to the South West of Birmingham in the UK, Wildjac strive to produce a range of sustainable and eco-friendly premium botanical spirits. To this end, they hand-craft their drinks using only 100% natural ingredients which (where possible) they source locally. On the nose this is zesty, with lively herbaceous green notes from the juniper and douglas fir. These strong and big botanical flavours are perfectly complimented and rounded out by chamomile and angelica. The journey continues to the end, where refreshing orange and lemon notes greet the palate giving a beautifully clean finish. Read more about Wildjac Perfect Serve This works particularly well when paired with a herbaceous tonic, such as Double Dutch's Pomegranate & Basil. Filliers Dry Gin 28 Classic (Mini) 5cl

Filliers Dry Gin 28 Classic (Mini) 5cl

V2C Classic Dutch Dry Gin (Mini) 5cl

V2C Classic Dutch Dry Gin (Mini) 5cl

V2C Classic Dutch Dry Gin V2C takes pride in its home (Amsterdam), but like the Dutch of old, looks to the wider world when thinking of ingredients. They ensure that the gin is created to the highest standards, and use ingredients harvested from across the world. With their name, they indicate the intent behind the gin. Four friends founded V2C, and it was named after the address they lived during their studies, the famous Victor de Stuersstraat 2C in Maastricht. To this end, the gin was created to encourage lively conversation and good times with friends. With their Classic gin, they pay homage to the more classic gin flvaours, but with a definite V2C twist. They use the freshest juniper, orange, licorice, laurel and St John’s Wort, which they subtly spice with coriander, cardamom, lemon and ginger. This is a gin which is definitely juniper-forward (another "classic" part to the gin), which is joined perfectly with soft spice and tangy fruit. This brings a subtle, light complexity to the drink. The taste has a lot of oily juniper which coats the mouth perfectly. Pine and cardamom spice are balanced by refreshing citrus notes. Theres also a hint of vanilla flower which creeps in. All round this is a delicious gin, classic, but with something a little extra. Read more about V2C Perfect Serve Serve in a highball glass or copa with a lot of ice cubes. Pour in 50ml of the gin, and top up the glass with 150 - 200ml of Fentimans Premium Tonic Water. Garnish with a slice of fresh ginger, fresh lemon and a few juniper berries. Alternatively, replace the Tonic with Rose Lemonade for a slightly sweeter drink. Garnish with a sliced strawberry and a few mint leaves. It also holds up exceptionally well in cocktails, so we encourage trying this out!

The Glenlivet Founders Reserve Whisky (Mini) 5cl

The Glenlivet Founders Reserve Whisky (Mini) 5cl

The Glenlivet Founders Reserve Whisky For their Founders Reserve, The Glenlivet have created an expression which is a tribute to George Smith, their founder. This has all the classic flavours of The Glenlivet, but is a a smooth creamier expression. They have utilised the time-honoured distillation methods which George Smith used, as well as the same mountain stream water.  This is then matured in traditional oak casks. When George Smith created his blends, there were no age-statements on whisky's. Instead he utilised his freedom in selecting and blending, and with this expression The Glenlivet have done the same - selecting whisky from traditional ages oak casks from a range of ages. To give a modern twist, their Mast Distiller (Alan Winchester) then marries a selection of the aged oak casks and American first-fill oak casks. These first-fill oak casks haven't been used to mature whisky, and when used selectively provide a smooth, creamy sweetness. This intermingles perfectly with the delicate flavours and fruity tonies already in the whisky.  The result is a whisky that The Glenlivet believe their founder would approve of. It has a pale gold colour, which gives an aroma full of sweet citrus fruits, with orange being predominant. In the mouth the orange again comes through, with a zestiness which is complimented by pear flavours and a touch of toffee apples. The flavours give a delicious blend of creamy sweetness and a refreshing zestiness from the citrus. The finish is pleasantly long, very smooth and creamy right to the end. Read more about The Glenlivet Perfect Serve Deliciously smooth this whisky is easily enjoyed neat, or simply served on the rocks. However for something different, try a Grain and Cane cocktail. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add 50ml of the whisky, 5 - 6 fresh raspberries, 15ml lemon juice, 5ml of white balsamic vinegar and 15ml of sugar syrup. Shake vigorously, then strain over crushed ice in a highball glass. Garnish with fresh raspberries, and a twist of black pepper.

Edinburgh Gin 1670 (Mini) 5cl

Edinburgh Gin 1670 (Mini) 5cl

"At Edinburgh Gin we are constantly striving to create new, classic gins with a modern twist. Working so closely with Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and Botanist, Dr Greg Kenicer, enabled us to experiment with a range of handpicked botanicals to create an enticingly aromatic gin with lively herbaceous – almost floral notes – with added peppery spice" - David Wilkinson, Head Distiller at Edinburgh Gin Lees meer over Edinburgh Gin Perfect Serve Deze onderscheidende gin kan worden genoten in een klassieke G&T, geserveerd met een premium Indian Tonic Water zoals Double Dutch Indian Tonic Water.

Rynbende Vintage Genever (Mini) 5cl

Rynbende Vintage Genever (Mini) 5cl

The Mayor of Exploration: Rynbende Vintage Genever Introduction Rynbende have a history going back more than 200 years. The distillery was established in 1793, by Simon Rybende in the world's Jenever capital, Schiedam. A former sailor, he turned to business, and distilling, and was even appointed the Mayor of Schiedam. A New Generation of Rynbende The Rynbende brand has had highs and lows during it's history and was re-ignited again in 2022, when the original Rynbende recipes were passed down to another generation through inheritance . Now called Rynbende Spirits, the focus is on producing high end spirits, with a selective distribution network (of which Gin Fling is happy to be one). Authentic Rynbended Botanicals Rynbender Vintage Genever was the first spirit to be launched and based on an old recipe found in the inherited recipe book. 'The Mayor of Exploration' is an old genever and is an ode to the glory days of the original distillery, containing authentic botanicals (peppermint leaf, angelica seed, cinnamon, clove, hyssop, angelica root, cardamom and mace) which gave it it's signature taste, setting it apart from the competition. Traditional Distilling Rynbende is distilled according to the Schiedam tradition from 1902, which produces a purer drink. It is made with malt wine that has been aged for 3 years in American oak barrels, and with smoky malt whiskey and vodka aged in European oak barrels for 25 years. This is a drink that will suit both jenever and whiskey lovers alike. Tasting Notes Aroma: Juniper berries are combined with cinnamon, camphor and a hint of peat, with underlying floral and fresh citrus notes Taste: Warm, woody notes are complimented by mint leaves, cloves, a touch of lemon and a delicate sweetness. Finish: Intense and long, More from Rynbende Perfect Serve Perfect to sip neat, Rynbende Vintage Genever is also great in cocktails. Inspired by the 'Dark n Stormy' but with genever instead or rum, how about a Stormy at Sea. Flll a glass with ice and squeeze in the juice of half a lime. Add 100ml ginger beer and pour 50ml Rynbende Vintage Genever over the back of a spoon so you get a nice layer on the top. Add a wedge of lime and enjoy.
