Description
Hazelnut oil is extracted from the fruit, or rather from the achene, of the hazelnut tree, noto in botany as Corylis avellana (Corylaceae or Birch family).
It contains a high percentage of unsaturated fatty acids (oleic and linoleic acids) which allow it to easily penetrate the skin without greasing and antioxidant tocopherols.
Sweet, nourishing and regenerating, it is perfectly suited to sensitive and irritated skins, but also to mixed and oily skins on which it has a sebum-balancing and astringent action.
Similar to sweet almond oilbut capable of essere absorbed faster, it is excellent for elasticizing the skin, without greasing.It is also used in case of sunburn in children, and very dry eczema.
Pure used has properties healing, astringents, soothing.
Can essere used as a massage oil, alone or mixed with other oils, as a vehicle for essential oils or as a component of the fat phase in cosmetic preparations.
