Bombay Original London Dry Gin 1L

Bombay Original London Dry Gin The history behind the Bombay Sapphire brand goes back to 1986 in England, where the gins were distilled in Warrington. However in 2014 their home moved to a dedicated distillery at Laverstock Mill in Hampshire. They distill their gins using vapour infusion. This method suspends the botanicals over the boiling alcohol, and the vapour is infused with the flavours and aromas of the botanicals as it passes over them. This is a more delicate method of distilling, and  results in a  lighter and more floral taste. Two of their four stills (of the carterhead variety, and named Tom and Mary) date back to the 1830's. Whereas their Bombay Sapphire Gin, found in the blue bottles) use 10 different botanicals, their Bombay London Dry Gin uses only 8 carefully selected botanicals.  These are Juniper Berries, Liquorice, Cassia Bark, Coriander Seeds, Angelica Root, Lemon Peel, Orris (Iris) root and Almonds. Their recipe takes inspiration from an original dating back  to 1761. On the nose this has a fresh aroma, with grassy herbal notes, piney juniper and hints of lemon citrus. This leads into a palate which is equally fresh and full of classic dry juniper flavours. These are enhanced by a mild hint of lemon and more herbal notes from coriander. It finishes crisp and clean leaving the palate with pleasant dryness. More from Bombay Perfect Serve Whilst this works well in cocktails, as a true original classic dry gin we think this makes the perfect G&T. Take a large / tall glass and fill with ice. Add 50ml of the gin and pour over 150 - 200ml of your chosen (neutral) tonic. Whilst any premium tonic will work well, we like East Imperial Tonic Water. Stir gently, and garnish with a slice or two of lemon.

Nemiroff De Luxe Vodka With a history that dates back 150 years, the Ukrainian Vodka from Nemiroff is now present across five continents. The production dates back to 1872 in Nemyriv (located to the south west of Ukraine's capital Kyiv). They still follow the same principles which were instilled when the company started; high quality, ancient recipes, as well as the constant search for improving the production process and finding new and exciting flavours. With their De Luxe edition, they have created a vodka which reflects the original recipe. They use entirely natural ingredients, pure local water, and premium grain alcohol. Their process used 11 different stages of filtration, and gives the finished vodka a refined, rich flavour with a light aroma of linden flower and vanilla. On the palate the flavour is smooth and full bodied, with a delicate hint of juniper which fades leaving a delicate and refreshing aftertaste. More from Nemiroff Perfect Serve As a premium vodka, this can easily be enjoyed simply as a shot. Pour 20ml over ice and enjoy. For a twist on a classic Negroni, try a Round 1 cocktail. Take a mixing glass and half fill with ice. Add 45ml of vodka, 15ml Jagermeister and 25ml of campari. Stir thoroughly until chilled, and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.

Absolut Kurant Vodka Blackcurrants are loved in Sweden.... grown in a typical Swede's back garden, and in the wild. The sweet berry ripens in July, just as Swedes take their well-deserved holiday after having survived yet another long, cold and dark winter. With their Kurant Vodka, Absolut have paid tribute to this versatile and delicious little berry! Skål! (Cheers!) The taste leaves nothing to the imagination. This is definitively a blackcurrant flavoured vodka. As always with Absolut, all natural ingredients are used, and there is no added sugar. Read more about Absolut Perfect Serve Delicious sipped straight from the freezer, or with a tonic (we like Double Dutch Indian Tonic Water). But how about trying an Absolut Kurrant Drop? Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add 25ml of Absolut Kurant, 15ml of lemon juice, and 7.5ml of sugar syrup. Shake well, and strain into a shot glass. Garnish with a blackcurrant.

Kahlua Coffee Liqueur The history of Kahlúa goes back to 1936 when Pedro Domecq began producing it in Veracruz, Mexico. Kahlúa is a blend of rum, sugar, and arabica coffee - combinging to create a delicious coffee liqueur. Interesting fact: The name Kahlúa means "House of the Acolhua people" in the Veracruz Nahuatl language It has a coffee like caramel colour, as well as the deep, rich flavour of black coffee joined with an indulgent creaminess of sweet butter. Perfect Serve This is a truly versatile drink, and it can be enjoyed in coffees, cocktails, or simpler as a long refreshing drink with tonic water or lemonade. When it comes to a cocktail, how about trying  a classic cocktail like the White Russian, Espresso Martini or Black Russian. Let your imagination run wild! Finlandia Lime Vodka With a history dating back to 1970, Finlandia has a rich heritage in creating premium Finnish Vodka.  Whilst Finland has a short growing season, it is also a land where the sun can shine at midnight - and does so for 72 days! In this way, the golden suomi (finnish) barley grows and ripens where less hardy variants would not. This barley, and pure glacial spring water (which give its clarity and smoothness) are part of the secret behind Finlandia.  Being born and created under the midnight sun in the north of finland this vodka truly embodies the Finnish spirit of living in harmony with nature by using it's finest ingredients. With their Lime edition, Finlandia have taken the citrus aroma of lime and combined wit with the subtle sweetness of honey. This gives the vodka a rich, warm character in conjunction with the refreshing lime. Read more about Finlandia Perfect Serve Smooth, and this can be enjoyed straight from the freezer. For something different, try a Spring Fever cocktail. Add 40cl of vodka, 20cl sugar syrup, and a piece of cucumber to a mixing glass. Muddle the ingredients together. J&B Rare Whisky The history behind J&B (Justerini & Brooks) goes back to 1749, when it was founded as a Fine Wine & Spirits merchant to supply the aristocratic houses of London. It even went on to supply every British Monarch since King George III in 1761. This, their J&B Rare Whisky first went on sale in 1933 following the end of prohibition in the US. The blend contains a total of 42 different single malt and grain whiskies from Scotland. These include distilleries like Knockando, Auchroisk and Glen Spey. Whilst the whisky was created with mixing in mind - it is most definitely versatile enough to be enjoyed neat, or on the rocks - with its smooth, fruity taste being enjoyed however you like. On the nose there are notes or orange zest and malt, with warming caramel, apples and walnuts. The palate is balanced, smooth and full of ripe fruit - with the malt and a delicate toffee sweetness. As the drink finishes, it remains exeptionally balanced - lingering, but not overly so to a medium finish with woody oak and a touch of cinnamon spice.  More from J&B Perfect Serve Whilst this is a whisky which is easily enjoyed on its own - we really liked this in a Whisky Ginger. Take a tall glass filled with ice and add 50ml of the whisky. Gently pour over 150ml of your favourite ginger ale (we liked it with Thomas Henry Ginger Ale). Stir gently and add a slice or wedge of lime.

To ensure it retains its absolute purity and smoothness, not only is it triple distilled, but it's also filtered ten times. As a pure vodka, and especially with it's higher alcohol content - we recommend this as a base for cocktails (where it adds a pure, neutral alcohol kick). On it's own there is a light sweetness on the nose, and it definitely gives an alcohol aroma - hinting at the high abv. The flavour is neutral, with a light peppery kick to it. More from Smirnoff Perfect Serve This absolutely works best when enjoyed in the mix (a little too strong for shots!). Try in a Bloody Mary, Espresso Martini or one of our favourites - the Moscow Mule. For a simple cocktail, the Moscow Mule works really well. Take a large glass or mule mug filled with ice and add 50ml of the vodka. Gently pour over 150 - 200ml of Fentimans Ginger Beer & Muddled Lime (or ginger beer and lime juice). Stir gently and garnish with a wedge of lime.
