The Concept2 BikeErg is the latest addition to our collection of sport-based ergometers.   Just like a real bike, the BikeErg features a damper that works as a gear so you can adjust your ride to suit you while the clutch allows the flywheel to keep on spinning, even after you’ve stopped pedaling. The flywheel also uses air resistance which creates a smooth and quiet ride that responds to your efforts.   Just like the Concept2 rower, this bike includes the PM5 monitor which provides data throughout your ride which can then be compared to others in order to help athletes to improve their performance. You can either select the automatic “Just Ride” mode or set up a variety of workouts. The monitor also offers a range of data including pace, watts, cadence (rpm) and Calories and which is automatically stored. Additionally, the PM5 provides both Bluetooth and ANT+ wireless connectivity, which gives you the option to connect it to a number of fitness apps and heart rate belts.   The handlebars are easily adjustable and can move up and down as well as forward and back.
