How Does Water Marbling Work?
To start, fill a plastic bowl or container with room temperature water. This allows the paint to float well on the water's surface. Next, drop different colored paints onto the water's surface and use a wooden stick to manipulate the paint in various directions. This can be done by drawing lines, making circular motions, or creating other patterns.
Afterward, gently lower the object you want to decorate onto the water's surface to transfer the pattern onto the object. It's important to slowly lower the object into the water to avoid creating air bubbles that could disrupt the marbling.
Once the object is submerged, you can carefully remove it and let it dry. Depending on the type of object you're decorating, it may need to be heated, ironed, or otherwise treated after drying to ensure the paint adheres well.
