Citizen X by Ex Nihilo opens with a penetrating shot of resinous mastic and white pepper so vibrant that it excites the senses. Like a loud detonation that gives way to a diffused explosion, perfumer Yann Vasnier cleverly camouflages it in an enveloping note of Iris that softens and supports the freshness of the perfume. Soon, the atmosphere becomes musky, but difficult to detect, with swirls of incense that cross amber woods...
