The developer has developed, among others, the work of American McGee's GrimmStoryAlice, after ten years of fighting catatonic schizophrenia caused by the tragic death of her parents, gets a chance to return to normal life. However, the trip to London does not bring the expected relief, because the lack of a rational explanation for the tragic departure of Alice's parents does not allow her to sleep peacefully. It seems that the best way to solve this matter is to use the services of a psychiatrist who can put you in a state of hypnosis. A visit to one of them, however, ends with a return to Wonderland, which has significantly degraded in Alice's absence.GameplayAlice: Madness Returns is a third-person action game in which time is spent exploring new locations, as well as fighting various types of enemies. Alicja has many types of weapons at her disposal, including a kitchen knife and deadly cards. The expedition is accompanied by characters known from the Wonderland stories. The game is divided between overcoming typical platform stages and fragments in which the player focuses strictly on combat. The game also features simple logical puzzles, present in the first part (e.g. an attempt to find the passage among the countless number of doors). The action takes place in a world that is an original vision of the beyond, inspired by Mexican folklore and American noir cinema. During the game, we assume the role of the deceased Manule "Manny" Calavera, who acts as a travel agent in the Department of Death. The story is divided into four acts, taking place over the next four years. Each of them presents one day in Manny's life. According to the hero, there is an escort of recently deceased souls to paradise. People who showed good deeds and behavior during their lifetime are rewarded with a ticket for a luxury train, reaching the gates of heaven in a few minutes. But the worst sinners must go to him on foot, and the journey takes them all four years. At the beginning of the game, Manny deals with the case of Mercedes "Meche" Colomar, which, despite her pure heart and perfect file, was doomed to wandering for many years. Investigating the Colomar case, the protagonist finds a plot leading deep into the gangster half-world. Grim Fandango is a typical adventure game in which players have to solve a number of logical puzzles and talk to characters encountered during the game.
