An important role is also played by turn-based clashes with enemy forces, during which the units we control are moved to a separate board; It is worth noting that thanks to the destructible environment and the extensive possibilities of modifying the arsenal used by our soldiers, the creators managed to expand the range of tactical options. All this means that victory can be achieved here both by conquest and diplomacy, as well as by extermination (after developing appropriate technologies). The action of the game is set in a gloomy, original fantasy land, long after the dark creature known as Kyros defeated the mortal forces, killed the heroes and took control of the whole world, introducing the title tyranny everywhere. The main character is a person who benefited from such a turn of events. We play the role of an officer in Kyros' army, who is a judge and executioner for ordinary people, who makes sure that the will of a despot is carried out. This does not mean that we are forced to play with a psychopath who enjoys murdering innocent people. There is, of course, an option, but an equally effective way to keep the people loyal to Kyros is to establish ruthless but just rule. In addition, the high position of characters on the social ladder means that even small decisions have a significant impact on the situation in the world, shaping the future of the entire universe and its thousands of inhabitants. Tyranna takes less time to complete than Pillars of Eternity, but this time Obsidian put much more emphasis on completing the game multiple times. During the game, we make many more key choices that change the course of events - we can, inter alia, ally with one of the few factions and use them for your own ends.

In the game we will visit various historical locations from Mediterranean pine forests to barren deserts of the holy land. What's more, the realistic representation of the environment serves not only for visual effects, but also thanks to a good representation of the realities of the battlefield, it can, and often and must, be used by players for strategic purposes.The graphics are at a high level. The events taking place on the map can be viewed both from a bird's eye view and from a very close distance. Particularly noteworthy is the aforementioned variety of locations, as well as changing weather conditions - in this regard, you cannot complain about boredom.
