Namely, when the Tamriel Empire does not have a ruler, the gate to Oblivion (the equivalent of the hell we know) is open, allowing all sorts of filthy beasts to break free. It is not hard to guess that the world is threatened by a great cataclysm and that no one else but the player must prevent it. His task is to find the rightful heir to the throne and bring him to rule over Tamriel. Gameplay and characters The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY is characterized by a very large freedom in making decisions. Speech incl. about creating the character of our hero, traveling around the game world, completing thousands of side quests, or the main mission itself. We can become both a powerful warrior, magician, sorcerer, healer or thief. Nothing prevents you from belonging to different guilds or factions at the same time and from advancing in their ranks. What we do, our decisions and actions affect both the character we run and the environment. The game world is inhabited by nearly 1,000 NPC characters who make independent choices based on their personality, place where they are and remembered effects of previous interactions with other people. And all this is thanks to a special artificial intelligence system "Radiant".   For example Mehrunes Dagon. Enemy of every living race in the Oblivion. He believes that he is in fact the true ruler of the entire world. And he tries to prove it to everyone. Then, there is Azura. One of Daedic princes, who rules over the sphere of transition. The only Daedric lord, who somehow can be considered a decent person. Then, you are going to meet probably the most annoying character in the history of video games. The character progression system is similar to the one from Morrowind.  Your skills are rising when you do certain things. However the combat system is much more complex and interesting, especially within the context of magic. User interface was also changed. Now it is much easier to navigate through items. In general you are going to notice development in most aspects of the game. 2K Games focused on the development of a complex and polished game and you can see that. Not without a reason, Oblivion is considered as one of the best RPG games, ever created. Story and the plot The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY  story starts six years after the events of Morrowind. The emperor Uriel Septim VII was killed by assassins. However, before he died he handed the amulet of kings to the most random person in Tamriel. A simple prisoner. The amulet is a really powerful artifact and Septim (played by Patrick Stewart) asks the prisoner to shut down the jaws of Oblivion. The prisoner is you and with this cryptic information from the emperor, you start your adventure. Similar to Morrowind you are not provided with a direction, where you should go. It is entirely up to you what you are going to do.  You can focus on your main quest or not give a damn about it at all. You can become a mage, thief or anyone you wish or want. In general, you can spend dozens of hours in Oblivion and not touch the main story at all. The side quests by themselves might provide you with so much fun, that you won't even think about the main storyline of the game itself. You can also explore the entire, huge world of Oblivion, filled with interesting things to find.   Receptions and awards from game industry The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTYs had a huge marketing campaign before it was released. Hence, many players might wonder if the game was really capable of providing them with as much excitement as they might expect. Remember that Oblivion gained the Game of the Year Award in 2006. This is where a new alternate reality was created using the hero's daughter. In order to regain it, Sebastian must leave the real world and go on a journey to a nightmarish dimension, constructed by the Mobius group.

This time, the authors presented us with a rather unusual scenery of dark swamps lying on the shores of Maryland. To get there, you just need to buy a ticket for the ferry, which appears in the standard wastelands from Fallout 3. The add-on is not only new places, but also quests and characters. When creating the whole, the authors were allegedly inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, so there are also themes known from horror movies. The expansion features a new town and an interesting storyline to unravel. We learn, among other things, the secret of the destroyed promenade, the secrets of the swamps inhabited by monsters, the history of the dark mansion besieged by hordes of enemies and the purpose of the mysterious Punga Fruit item. Point Lookout focuses primarily on exploring and searching for secrets in a new environment, offering dozens of different locations to visit. For the fourth DLC for Fallout 3, the creators have prepared several new weapons, such as a shotgun and microwave emitter, as well as unprecedented, even more dangerous opponents (including mutated natives). An additional attraction is a bonus set of perks and achievements, which of course diversify the fun. It is also worth paying attention to the high level of visual setting, kept in extremely dark colors.

The production was developed by id Software studio and released by Bethesda Softworks (the original was the work of Midway Games). The action of Doom 64 takes place after the events of the first two installments of the Doom series. After victorious battles with demons on the surface of Mars and Earth, humanity decided to deal with their nests on the moons of the Red Planet, i.e. Phobos and Deimos. The globes were bombed with powerful charges, but the radiation produced then prevented people from observing the effects of this undertaking, and thus - from noticing that the offensive was managed by a mysterious entity that brings back to life every dead emissary from hell it finds on its way. After the fact, a group of soldiers is sent to the scene to deal with the threat. However, the unit is murdered, and the only survivor is the hero in which the player plays. From then on, it is on his shoulders the mission, the success of which depends on the fate of all mankind. In Doom 64, the action is shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The game consists of thirty-two extensive levels resembling labyrinths. In addition to obtaining keys and activating switches that open the passage, while traversing them, we deal with the elimination of hordes of terrifying enemies. Although the arsenal with which we send enemies to the sand is well known to us from earlier items under the Doom sign, the appearance of its individual elements has been thoroughly changed (an example of which is a chainsaw with two, not one blades). A novelty is the weapon known as the Laser (or Unmaker), which shares the ammunition with the iconic BFG 9000; as we progress, we acquire three ancient artifacts that allow us to significantly strengthen it.
